Release Date?
Has anyone heard anything concrete about the release date for this game? I had originally heard Aug 28th. I had pre-ordered a few and was planning on demoing it at the next gameday less then two weeks from now. Now the company I ordered from says they don't expect it in until sometime in September.

Hmmmm---
Well the last info we had was the cargo container was suppose to arrive in the USA on the 7th -- Not sure how much more time beyond that for customs, etc...
So based on that schedule we could not get any supply for sale - in on time for our up-coming Demo of the game at DragonCon.
So I would guess store arrival would probably be a about a week or so after the 7th of September.
We also plan to demo the game at "Anime Weekend Atlanta" so we should definitly have some stock in by that time.

Yah I posted that there -
Again I should point out - I am not an employee of DGA-Games so my post is of course speculation as to times of arrival based on info I got. I based my estimates on my knowledge of shipping times of retail stock from other distribution outlets.

Sigh ... the Gamday I wanted to demo this at is on the 10th, beginning to look like that isn't going to happen =/

Yeah, I get back from vaca on the 8th and was really hoping it would be waiting on my doorstep

It is now the 15th, and the site I just ordered it from had the Booster Packs available, but everything else up for pre-order.
Any news?

Keep in mind that that could just be a little quirkiness on that particular website. My guess is that the status of the booster packs just wasn't changed to "pre-order." I would think that any company selling it will receive boosters, starters and booster boxes at the same time.
As a matter of fact, when I look at the available product on a big distributor's website, I see "NYA" (which means not yet available) on everything except individual boosters. Their site has had that status for over a month now. So the website discussed here may be just relaying that status if they get product from that distributor.
We're all chomping at the bit here. But I think when we see it we will see it all available at the same time.

The email from Thought Hammer on my order said:
It seems there had been a delay in customs (a common occurence these days). DGA expects to start shipping the games to distributors on Monday, so it may be the following Monday before we receive ours.
