more details about starter and booster (???)
Hi!!
I wonder how are built starter and booster packs...
Is there at least xxx towns, yyy heroes, zzz spells, etc ???
is it possible to have twice a card in a single booster/starter ???
or will we be forced to buy other boosters or trade in oder to be able to have stacks of creatures ???
thanx

Some of this has been discussed in earlier threads and on boardgamegeek. Here are some key points.
Boosters
1. Each booster will be themed. 20 cards of the same alignment or at least themed for that alignment.
2. There will be Hero packs and Extra Packs of each alignment.
3. A booster display will contain 4 booster packs of each of the 6 alignments, three Hero Packs and one extra pack.
Starters
1. Each starter will also be themed, there will be 6 types; Life vs. Death, Order vs. Chaos, Nature vs. Might and then some cross battles for the other 3.
2. 60 cards of each, which will be 2 Hero Packs and 1 Extra Pack, but randomly placed in the starters too.
3. The tiles will be in groups of 7. But will be 4 different groups placed randomly in each starter.
4. A case of 6 starters will definitely have all 6 of the themes and all 4 tile groups.
Both
1. Both the starters and the boosters will be packaged so that you cannot tell what is inside from the outside.
In general a Hero Pack comes with a Hero, 6 level 1 units, 2 level 2 units, 1 level 3 unit, 1 level 4 unit, the location required to build the included level 4 unit, and a Town Card from which all of these units could come. The other 7 cards in the pack depend on the included Hero. 5 of them will be skills that the Hero typically will use. The other 2 will either be a location and an artifact (for warrior type heroes), or a low level spell and a higher level spell that the included hero might want to cast.
Extra Packs vary by the alignment featured, but most will come with a lot of spells, artifacts, or locations, and wandering creatures from the same alignment. There are no Heroes or Towns in an Extra Pack.

TFH,
Is this info through deduction, is it stated somewhere or did Jonathan dish the specifics at some other time?

Jonathan dished the specifics to a couple of different people on different questions in the past.

This is just awesome. I cannot wait. The more I read and re-read, the more I get excited.
I pre-ordered 2 starters and 1 booster box (and will probably buy more ) so I am virtually guaranteed to get a nice spread mix of all factions.
The only thing that will tilt my personal distribution is whichever starters I end up with through the luck of the draw.
I am hoping for at least 1 Order starter, especially the "vs. Chaos" version!
Hurry up and distribute these cards already!!!!!!!!!!
