I looked at that test and by about the third question I was like "wtf, these are the stupidest questions I've ever seen!"

Discussion of philosophy takes you further from the truth, not closer. It's nothing but mental masturbation that's just another layer of armor to keep people from looking at themselves. The truth you see in the mirror is always the hardest truth to accept. Intellect and thought are a means of avoiding that truth.

Ironic how that works. The more you study and learn, the stupider you get.

Here's a question to ponder.  If there was only one person alive on a planet (with no contact to any other planet), would there be any good or evil on that planet?

I guess but it wouldn't have any significance to that person.
What is morality without interaction with others?
But I doubt a mass genocide, or the general disappearance, of every one on the planet would cause morality to disappear.
Actions could still be inherently good or bad, just some acts may be harder to commit

There is no good and evil. Just points of view.

Debateable.

If you murder an orphaned infant for fun, I would call that evil.
Some people might say it's not, but I would say they are wrong.

So yes there are different points of view but there could be an external universal morality.

But that's a matter of opinion in itself and is the fundamental basis of this quiz really... whether you believe in that or not..

Sure. Point is, that we will never know true, because it is only game with words, and meaning of each "debatable" word, such as Morale, is purely subjective.

...... What ? Isn't philosophing about understanding human nature, solving problems, finding paters/reasons for effects/causes, finding your purpose, finding out who you/humans are and much more? How is that geting away from the "truth"?

I mean what you say is the case but
1)this does by far not only aply to philosopying (ok you also said that sorry didn't see that first)!
2)Not everything people do is mental masturbation (ok depends on what you define as mental masturbation [would highlevel math be the same for you?] sometimes they solve problems)
3)Mental masturbation isn't a bad thing.

That is your individua opinion... Intellect and thought are infact means to find that truth(opinion) which is what many philosophers actually do/try (fact)

Did you have some bad experiences with philosophy or how come you have such an aggresive stance on the matter?

The point of philosophy isn't to find a concrete answer.

If it were it would have been over a long time ago.

Discussion.

Good answer. Than philosophy fulfills its purpose. Nevertheless, it is discussion about opinions, not facts (in general). Which brings question, what is more important - fact or opinion?

They're not mutually exclusive.

Generally though, in the case of philisophy, the facts are unknowable so we are left only with opinions.

That is reason, why I consider philosophy more like a game than science.

That can be truth - but it generally depends on person, and thing he/she studies and its influence on him/her.
