First PC game you ever played
well what was it and how did it come about???
(not including minsweeper and thos games)
the first game that i ever played was chips challenge. it is basically a game where u are this little guy and you must collect a certain amount of chips. once u collected the amount u go to the portal to the next level. not that hard a game but it gets very challenging.
there are many things in the game that make it harder. there are certain obstacles such as block (which can be moved), monsters and water. there is also fire and many things which affect something in some way. there is even ice which u can slide across. there are also power ups like boots that allow you to swim, skate and step in fire and keys which open up doors
i got it when i came home one day and i found my brother playing this game. my dad had gotten it from a friend. until that moment in time i didnt even know that computers existed.
well thats my story and my game
lets not see if we relive those classic games that you first played

First PC game? I think Earthworm Jim must have been one of the first ones, where you're a superhero worm with a ray gun who has to make his way through a junk yard for no apparent reason. Oh and you get to use highly advanced seige weaponry like cows and fridges.
Oh and the riginal Heroes is up there too,
no explanation.
Hmm... I remember way back when I used to play NES..
There was the really hard ones like The Incredible Crash Dummies!! You know, the game where you're a crash dummy and you have to make it through the course without getting destroyed or hitting the cones or anything... actually I never really got the point I guess I was too young.
Oh and Duck Tales... State of the Art, High Resolution!
Same sort of thing, you have to get through various haunted mansions/caves etc. to save various people and avoid monsters, my only memories of this game are of it's difficulty.
And of course, who can forget the original Super Mario Bros.
I still play them of course, just on my PSP.

My first game was T-Bird when I was 6. I think that was the first time I saw a computer too. I think I managed to get to round 3 by randomly jumping around.

Quick Questions
Could you please define PC game?
Also, as far as PCs, are we talking about 386/486 and above? For some of the old folks here (myself included) there were early PC computing platforms such as the Atari 400/800, Commodore 64/128 and the Texas Instrument 99/4. I know, I know...what the hell are they...but I just had to ask.
Also, from some of the responses above, I think that some members are listing console games.
[EDIT]
On second thought, I will just post the following:
First PC Game: Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (Collector's Edition) (Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds, and Secret of the Silver Blades) (Wizard Works, 1994)
First PC Game (prior to 386/486): Tales of the Unknown: The Bard's Tale (Electronic Arts, 1987) and
Ultima III: Exodus (Origin Systems, 1983) on the Commodore 64
First PC Game (early Console/PCs): Temple of Apshai (Epyx, 1985) on the Atari 400
First Console Game: Space Invaders (Midway Games, 1980) on original Atari gaming console
Hope this is a very slow jog down memory lane for some of you old farts still hanging out around here.

Either Prince of Persia, Ski Or Die, or Space Invaders. Or, there was this game called Pyton, on a Norwegian-made computer called Tiki 100. If any of you've played Snake on a Nokia phone, it's basically the same thing.

I remember way back in grade school playing Number Muchers and Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego.
But other than that I think the first game I played after the 286 or whatever was Master of Magic. Saw a friend playing it and thought it looked really good, saw the same friend playing Heroes 2 and Master of Orion 2. Can't remember which came first and don't really care.
Well all 5 of these games have contributed to me becoming a game aholic. Wonder if theres a local GAA meeting I can go to to get help. LOL.

Well, I've played Prince of Persia, Warlords, Panzer, Warcraft and Doom, apart of the mini wingames. After those, came the (still) number one game I have ever played: Heroes 2.
