When I was 15 and under I really wasn't like that. Has the world changed? Can mature content stay on it's webpages and leave the rest of us alone just for this one time? There's total party on the official forum about hot, the hotter and the hottest!
This sexual thing combined with (morbid ) passion for dinos makes this the worse allignment yet. As I said, all that's missing is an Eminem soundtrack in the town.

I was talking of Age of Wonders, which has more fairy-tale atmosphere than Heroes can ever hope for. It does have some steampunk, but it's by no means a game of "modern fantasy"...

Well, I think the Shadow Bitc... *ahem* Witch is the hottest so far!
So, violence is OK (your "refuge" ), but sex isn't? "When I was 15 I wasn't like that"... but you did enjoy killing Angels and Sprites and Unicorns, didn't you? I think it's simply our upbringing that yells "this is wrong!!!" while it is actually fine.
Can't wait to see those scantily clad sprites in Sylvan... or even blondes riding pegasi!

The only thing I dislike here are the donkey ears... Not sexy at all!

I'm psyched - this town looks awesome. I like the "blue" color of the caves, rather than the browns that have been so prevalent in earlier Heroes games.
It's about time there were some evil elves in HoMM!

Now that you've showed me the pain lady, I realise we could have ended up withsomething much worse than our bloody sister. Unfortunately we won't have the pegasi riders. But there's a chance that spirits and war dancers will live up to the expectations of the sick...
And about that 15 years of age... All games are besed on confrontations; if we were in the '70, with flowerpower and stuff we might have had some "loving" games, but today everybody goes to war, the problem is wether you do it with style or just like a savage. Our teenagers overthere have little style however Mixing sexual arousements with heroes is bad taste combination, at least that's my view. (which of course is the right one... )

Actually, not all games are based on confrontation. Maybe all the games YOU play are based on confrotation? Think about it. LOL Just kidding!
Seriously though, think of simulation, taycoon, adventure and puzzle games. Not much confrontation there.

Wow, finally a faction I like! Looks like the design is getting better and better, there might still be some hope for Sylvans and Tower...
Haven and Inferno creatures are utter crap in their current design, maybe with the exception of the Succubus. All other Inferno troops look exactly the same. Indistinguishable. And horrible. I think the so called Archdevil is the most idiotic, ugliest model I've ever seen in my life. And all the Haven creatures are small fat piles of armor. Not to speak of the Angels. I didn't like the H3 Angels, but these are much worse and only slightly better than the Devils. (ok, pointless statement, I think it's safe to say by now that the only person who likes the H5 Angel is Fabrice )
Necro troops are much better, both in concept art and ingame. Nonetheless some inexcusable *#%!& remains, such as the archer boot, the fatness of the skeletons, and the vampire sword.
However the Dungeon troops are simply great. Only complaints are the Minotaur horns and maybe the T-Rex rider (which obviously was directly copied from WoW). Give him a Scorpicore to ride on and everything's perfect.
Oh, and I love the women. (May I remind the critics that naked women have always been a part of HoMM, just think of the H3 Pegasi & Sprites?!)

Maybe they shall represent undead Haven troops, but that's not really an excuse.
I'm afraid their figure, helmet, boot, all serve one purpose: to make them look...cute.

Karminax & Vlaad: about naked females in heroes my naswer is in the other active thread (I never thought that HC will end up with only a couple of active threads , I don't know what's wrong with you people). But to say it again, sprites should be scanty dressed since that's how they're supposed to look like - and those dresses should be natural ones, floral, etc. When you put latex, high-heels and other trendy fashionist stuff on them it becomes sickening bad taste. Not to forget they live in dark caves. But maybe they have AC there?

They need to put on a cloak or something because the first word that came into my mind when i saw them was 'sleazy'.
Also the social system of a dark elf underground city with a matriarchal clan system is practically identical to that presented in Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark.

I think it's the best so far, actually. It gives a sense of meaning to the Dungeon as opposed to Heroes 3 where it was the place to dump all the mythological creatures which didn't belong anywhere else.
Except I think the rider should be stronger than the witch, but that's just me judging a book by its size

This was actually explained in the manual I think. It basically meant that the Dungeon gave home and a purpose to those not wanted elsewhere. Or those too ambitious to join others.

A nice line-up. Compact, ideologically based, stylish and sexy. I have to emphasize the great similarity I find with my Shadow town proposal, of course this is much more thought out and refined. I don’t really understand why they couldn’t include Medusa in this town, since she embodies many of the faction’s symbolics. A woman, snakelike body, lives in hiding. Oh, anyway…
I cant agree that dungeon didnt have a style of their own. Thats just stupid advertising. In dungeon you had the bad ass ruler who wants to conquer everything and rule the world, aka overlord. For that purpose they used varous slave labour (troggies) and monster. Not equitable neither with Necro, nor with Inferno. The merge with the Dark Elves is fine, though i cant say they only added to the town, but rather significantly changed it.

Excellent design, nice basic unit.

Blood Sister
Oh, damn, typing about this creature goes with one hand only. Soo, dunno what to say, i think it’s redundant beside the witch. This one look too sado-maso. I cant say i don’t like the looks, but only for a porn magazine or metal band album cover. As concept art looks too snowtish, but in the game its not at all that bad. Such as her tits peeking from the bra, or the bundle of pubic hair coming out if you look too closely, can easily be overlooked while playing. Nonetheless, the high heels suck. Anyway, i think i’ll be enjoying this creature.
Mark: 7/10; it’s a veeery sexy female after all
Minotaur Slave
Moving from minotaur heroes to minotaur slaves. Now that’s degrading. Anyway, solid design, with some flaws all over. Like, is it a muflon, or a bull? And why the hell the two piercings on the nipples? And whats that pubic hair doing hanging like beard there? I guess it hides something with which our sadist bondage queen fulfils her… hmmm free time.
Mark: 6/10
Dark Rider
Not bad at all. I’ve always acknowledged the need of introduction of a dino type of creature in heroes, beside the flying dragons, that is. And here’s a nice raptor/alosaurus sample (NOT T-rex) and a great warrior to mount him. Armor is not badly placed as well, and I think he’s gonna have a unique weapon in the game (luv it).
Mark: 9/10
Hydra
Finally, back from that funny version of two legged lizard in homm4 to a real tough monster. I just don’t understand the need for cross necklaces and another set of skull ones just underneath. Heck, i don’t understand the need for necklaces at all. Hydras arent widely known as admirers of jewelry.
Mark: 8/10
Shadow Witch
I love the image of the “young witch” type of creature. I fear however the colour of that skirt ingame, as well as the stupid whip. However, not at all bad.
Mark: 9/10; as i said, female creatures get always a point extra for sexipile.
Shadow Dragon
Very good, although i’ve never really adored that lizard type of head in dragons. But still, a dragon design doesn’t leave much room for big fiascos, so i thought i could be more critical here. Therefore:
Mark: 8/10
