h3 angels looks like jesus with wings, the archangel has too much beard.
h4 angel dosen't have a very celestial look to it, i means whats with the chain-mailed head and all that body armor?
h5 angels are way better than the others, they have a celestial feel to them and you can't tell whether they are male or female,which is good since angels are supposed to be genderless.

The H3 Archangels have the most solid appearance, so I voted for them. The H4 version looked alright, but wasn't anything special. The H5 Angels look more like magically-endowed nannies or something. Sorry, a little too strange for me.

The new Angel (H5) looks very promissing (I love manga btw). But I do think it has too many armor. Imho, the Angels should not be worried about earth things (like defence  ) and wear something more celestial (white?). The blue costume has to go.
The sword looks awesome...

Actually I preffer the Diablo2(tm) Archangel... Tyriel (propebly misspelled)... Celestial, glowing in gold and white...

This doesnt have much to do with their looks, but it says the homm5 angel has the special ability to reappear for recruitment in town once they have been "killed" in battle. So does that mean there will be an ever increasing quantity of them being being availiable to castle players? If thats the case the game will be as unbalanced as hell, especially in larger maps and in terms of chaining etc

maybe they are REALLY expensive or they not are as powerfull as other lv7's

Another one of these polls about which version of a creature is better than others that was hard to choose the one I liked better.
The H3 Archangel is the best one that I have used in combat(between H3 & H4) since they can fly all the way across the battlefield and since the attack animation has their sword lighting on fire.
Don't really like the one in H4 because of the armor, and the sword doesn't look as cool.
The ones in H5 look alright, and I like the gigantic swords.
BTW, after looking at the images of all the angels, I realized that the sword the archangel is holding is the Sword of the Gods from H4

The heroes III unupgraded version looks the coolest.
The upgraded version looks like they took Archangel Gaebril and stuffed him full of steroids. The Heroes IV one looks like a knight with glued wings.
The heroes V angels look like sissies. I didn't know there was a fashion contest involved, maybe the Heroes V angels woulda won my vote then.
The heroes III angels are simply badass. Simple white robe, simple sword, kickass unit.

I realy think angels shouldn't be a battle unit - This may sound strange- but they could be medics, or even an aura of sorts (army has angels with them), that would seem more realistic.
As an aura they might allow you to pacify- or walk past neutral creatures-, or they could heal your army. If they were medics, they'd be like the medic tent in HoMM 3 sorta. All of this armor, celestial flames, and kris swords seems to evil or warlike for the angels.
Im an athiest (I don't belive in god), but from what I understand, angels are supposed to be peaceful.
I voted for the H3 unupgraded, It looks like he just has a sword to defend himself, more than slaughter people ruthlessly.
The HoMM 3 upgraded does look cool, but its not very angel-like.

Hm you are right in one thing Angels aren't supposed to be warlike BUT Archangels are supposed to be,well let's say "battle oriented".
