Necropolis (crazy growth of skeletons)
Tower (searching for Town Portal, Fly, & Dimension Door)
Confux (get earth, air, water, and fire magic skills)
Castle (raise morale and adventure speed)
Dungeon (double spell points)
3 of them have artifact merchants

5 favourite? Ain't that a lot? 3 would've been better.
Anyway:
1. Dungeon (i find it PERFECT for my style of play, nice heroes and units)
2. Rampart (close second, me likes elves and stuff, best looking race in homm3, nice heroes)
3. Castle (very well balanced between shooters/flyers/walkers, not expensive)
4. Fortress (one name: Tazar)
5. Tower (if I find the resources, that is)
