Poll Question:
The Way of the Elf!
Well this one explains itself!
My favorite against all odds has to be the Heroes 1 or 5 elf. The others just don't look good to me and the robin hood look of the Heroes 1 elf looks cool and the details on the Heroes 5 elf really set it apart.
Hm, so I would have to say Heroes 1 with Heroes 5 close behind it!

They're different, 1,2 and 3 look like human archers from a castle with green clothes and long ears... whereas 4 and 5 look like real wood elves from the wild...
I think 3 looks the best though.

hmm, very hard choice between h1 and h2, but i'll go with the latter especially the non-upgraded version!

what do u people have with that h2 elf....its lame....if there would be one that would be the h5 concept one...now that is how an elf should really lok like...

The concept one from H5 ears are too long. The upgraded one from H3 looks almost like the elves in armor from LOTR.
I like the ones from H3, followed by H4, then H5, H2, H1.

H5 Elves are the best!
I think that the H5 Elves look the best. The H1 looks too... human, the H2 looks alright, but I like the others better! The H3 ones are ok, the H4 are kinda blury, I don't know what it is about them that I don't like, but nope, not H4!
I choose hands down the H5 Elves! They are so... Elf! They look a bit native American, but I think that just made them better!
I also like the "woad" look that they added to some of them - the blue Celtic tatoos and face paint.

Very tough choice between 3 and 5. finally 3 prevails because of the stupid ears of 5, and the quality of the upgrade.

Even so,H2 elves are the best.Let us put them in order:
H2,they look like Robin Hood,H3,they are elves,but with that green T-shirt...,H1:the original is an archer,nothing to complain,but the animation is not so good.
H5:Masters of the longbow,they look funny,though,H4:white skinned girl elves?
H2 is the best for me.Fare thee well!

I don't know how much more Elf someone can posably be then a H5 Elf!
They even have cool tatoos and war paint like the ancient Cents, and their clothing looks a bit American Indien, so they are really cool as far as I'm conserned.
What is this about Elves have to look like Robin Hood?
And in H1 and H2 the Elves look like humans, not like Elves!

no real contest here... HoMM5 elves rock ...the rest ...well, will not say the world would be better without them (even though HoMM4 ones go in that category) but they just don't even come close

I am surprised of the results!!! How come H2 and H3 elves have got so much votes? They dont even look much elfish to me...

I know quite a few people that are put off by the extra long ears, it seems to make them more...animal, however, do we really want them to be more human?
They are known for their love of nature - mostly anyway - and in a lot of fantasies they have shorter ears. I like this affect though! They stand out more and it doesn't degrade their looks, it only makes them different, so it shouldn't be that much of a big deal!
Anyway, we should overlook these simple things that some of us don't like and look at the things that actualy have an affect of the gameplay or the battles...really! How do the ears help at all in that aspect?
