TDL, I liked your post, but you might be saying 'the dwarf' a bit too much. Try using 'he' or 'Hathar' a bit more to break it up a bit.
But other than that, it was interesting.

Sorry I've been busy the past few days. But it's around morning now, so let's get this thread going again.
Edit: I got an idea that maybe something cool could happen on the way to the keep. Like maybe our party has to fight. Or maybe we come across some people who are fighting. This would allow someone like 2Xtreme to enter the thread. Maybe Shadowcaster's character could send out some monsters to attack us. Anything could happen.
I think we should consider throwing out some ideas on what might happen along the way.

That could be a good idea. Anyone who wants to join could be in a fight against these monsters, who mistook them for us, and we might save them, allowing them to come with us.
Richard could recognize the monsters from the Keep, catching his eye.

Please don't auto my character without asking first Mvass. Even if all you have me say is a couple words. I always ask a person before I auto their character no matter how minor it might be.

Sorry all, but I'm going away tomorrow for about a week, and probably won't get near a computer, so I won't be able to post..
If it would be easier it's fine if my character is just said to be travelling along, reserved, not saying or doing much until I get back so that I won't fall behind or hold you back.
Put him in deep reflection for a week 
Again, sorry, won't be able to post from tomorrow night which is a bit of a problem when a thread moves so fast.

i've turned it into kind of a story. he's been possessed by some kind of demon/monster thing (you dont know what yet) so that he won't do anything until I get back, only just follow along with you guys. It doesn't turn him evil, don't worry.
I'll break out of it when I get back.

Okay I'd just like to say that the part in bold is not very realistic. You are not a god in this thread. Though even Shadowcaster's character is powerful, it is meant to be that way and he stays within his powers. If you tried to grab the wolf by your throat you would get yourself chewed up like hell. So let's just say your legs got bitten.

Looks like this is coming along, nice addition Shadow i HCMed you about that.
I'm back now so I'll be able to post and hopefully kick some ass. 
I like how it's coming along.
This is actually the thread that gave me the idea of elimination, because the RPers could get killed off one by one to leave one person to get the prize at Cauldrons, voted off once a week and then killed of in the story as a result.
I'm not saying we should do it in this thread, but in the Glade feedback I suggested it as a RP idea for another thread.

@Shadowcaster: Nice post, the planeswalker part was what I was looking for, but just to clarify what did you mean by the realm of the shadows? Did you mean another plane, or an underworld of some sort?
And I also like whats going on between Ike and Richard. The sort of uneasy tension and games hidden behind smiles...

I feel like people are afraid to be take the initiative and be proactive in this thread. It's not hard to stir up some action without autoing characters. And if you have an idea that requires another person, just send out an HCM or talk with each other on MSN or something.
No complaints overall however. I just think that the thread is slowing down a bit when it could be doing a lot more.

Perhaps some people don't want to suddenly come forth with a plot twist at the same time someone else does or something that may conflict with a previous storyline?

The main thing I would concentrate as we did earlier is developing the relationship between characters. I think that those can lead to the most dynamic situations. Think about it. Think about any story that involves lovers. That changes the dynamics of the movie completely.
I think Gorman and I have fleshed out a good relationship of suspicion, distrust, and mind games between Ike and Richard. Most of it was accidental and it just sort of happened that way.
So if you think about it, what would your character do for all that time to pass the time? Would he sit by himself thinking or go talk to other characters?
There's a lot we can do in this thread for character interaction. So by taking the initiative, you don't have to completely change the plot of the entire thread, you can simply walk over to another character start a conversation and be kinda rude to him.

Alright I just wanted to say that we should hurry along our journey, so that we get to the Keep a bit sooner. I'm also gonna see if 2Xtreme still wants to join. But we shouldn't have trouble from the Guardian anymore until we get to the Keep.
The main thing though is we need to work on building character development and character relationships. The things we develop early in this thread will create new conflicts on their own later on. So concentrate on building character relationships.

Well I just got back from skiing all weekend. I haven't had the chance to post for a while, cause finals were last week.
