Ranged Retaliation

We know of the "ranged retaliation" ability of the Inferno's Succubi/Infernal Succubi. I just have a few questions:

1. Would the retaliation consome the Succubi's amount of shots?

2. In the case of the enemy ranged attack having more than one shot (i.e. Wood Elves), would the retaliation come after the first strike, or the second strike?

3. If the ranged attack affected multiple areas (Marksman or other Infernal Succubi ), would the Succubi retaliate?

4. Would the retaliation be the same as if it were a melee?

1.Yes
2.After the first
3.Not sure about Archers... But Inf.Succubi attack is not an area attack, it is aimed at one particular creature with an additional bonus-chain damage to others. Thus the retaliation comes only from the first unit.
4.Didn't understand than one exactly - what means "same as melee"? In melee Inf.Succubi will deal only half damage to one unit, but with range retaliation they might hit up to four opponents. But its the same in the sense that Inf.Succubi will retaliate only once until their next turn.

What I've experienced:

1. Yes
2. After the first
3. Archer area attack will not get succubi to retaliate, chain fire won't work since scuccubis is inferno creature and chain fire doesn't work on any inferno creature (simmilar to death cloud, you can shoot ONLY directly at one unit)
4.Yes, retaliation is consumed so succubus can be attacked and won't retaliate.
