Why do I always miss all the fun while I'm asleep?

As I've said before, this isn't really about Xarfax. The only question concerning him is whether the posts should be restored. The real issue is more than that. Any change in policy affects everyone.

To my knowledge, members have always had the ability to edit/delete posts. IMO a single incident shouldn't be a reason to change policy, not when the board has managed to survive for several years under current policy.

So the real question is not about the past, it's about the future. How do members want the board to be IN THE FUTURE. I repeat, the board has survived for years as it is. So is there sufficient reason for policy change?

As Angelito said, this thread is not about Xarfax or LegendMaker. It is about who the posts belong to - poster or the community. Anything else offtopic posted here will be deleted and may be penalised. I also restate a warning to LegendMaker not to make any more provocative references to Xarfax.

As final words on double standards accusation I'd like to point out that LegendMaker has not yet been penalised and hence deserves a warning, which has just been issued. Xarfax attains penalties immediately as he has a history or warnings and deliberate misconduct. As I stated before, COC is like a rake. If you ignore the warning and step on it - you will get whacked. If Xar has any grievances against LM he should raise them in a separate thread with appropriate quotation. Same the other way around.

And this is the end of that issue in this thread.

Back to post editing, deleting and QPs.

I think a distinction must be made between allowances for QP posts and standard posts. Therefore I will make two separate polls in Tribunal which outline the possibilities that are reasonable on the implementation side of things.

EDIT: Just noticed that Xarfax's post above contains a direct insult. Penalty applied.
