TOE Single Scenario -- Barbarian

I remember I had enough army by the time the sea route opened though the haven army was a tad hard to take down.

My son likes the map, all you need is to find the "great weapon". Then a sole goblin would do the rest.

That is an intriguing statement. I think that I have been everywhere in the southern seas and although I've found some pretty decent artifacts, I haven't found anything like that.
What is its real name?

Very sorry, I was wrong, I was talking about The Cup of Thunder, where you need to find the Cup of Thunder. And if you find it, haven navy is no longer a problem.
About battle cry freedom, my son lost his games here. Haven army is too strong. Not much advie I can give you, only that snatch is a must skill to take.

Ah Yes. I remember the effect on that one. It was pretty remarkable.
On Battle Cry Freedom, I just finished it. Had to twiddle thumbs and build up army with two strongholds. Once I thought I was strong enough, I hit the other Academy and opened up the way to red forces. Was able to take care of him without too much problem.
[edit]There is another possible strategy. After you get the instant travel spell, you can hop over some rocks and get into red's territory without capturing the second academy town. I don't know if you can hop over the rocks in the main channel, but I saw the red hero do it in the upper ocean portion (the one where you start off).
Whether or not that could lead to a different result is uncertain -- but you may be able to catch the red super-hero out of position and grab his town away from him.
Worth thinking about.
