23. O Brother, Where Art Thou? (Melfice Rule)
If the male hero has an older sibling, the sibling will also be male and will turn out to be one of the major villains. If the hero has a younger sibling, the sibling will be female and will be kidnapped and held hostage by the villains.
Oh Yeah Loved this one in Grandia2, I just liked his taunts when you finally fought him.
Of course you should have added that any Supposedly evil sibling is obviously under the control of some monstorous evil that you end up killing to free them, and then they DIE.
31. Bed Bed Bed
A good night's sleep will cure all wounds, diseases, and disabilities, up to and including death in battle.
Actually some you actually have to get revived at a church if they die and don't just wimp out and faint. I remember in Lufia 2 you had to even goto the church to cure poison early on.
134. Inheritance of Acquired Characteristics (Ramus Rule)
Twenty-three generations may pass, but any person's direct descendant will still look and act just like him.
Oh yeah definitely Lufia 2 where the Really bad Evil chick falls in love with the hero, then comes back in the next game as a helper against all the Evil Sinistrals.
135. Pinch Hitter Rule
Whenever a member of the hero's team is killed or retires, no matter how unique or special he or she was there is a good chance someone will show up to replace them that has exactly the same abilities and can use the same weapons with the same proficiency.
Oh yeah this was so in Legend of Dragoon. What was even funnier is that he had the Exact same moves just different timings for them. Really annoyed me as I had Blossom Store upto Max then couldn't even pull it off for 20 times.
But I gotta admit that that was one of the best good gye killings I have seen. Just loved how that blade just slid right through his "Dragon Armor".
136. Dealing With Beautiful Women, Part 1 (Yuffie Rule)
All good-looking young females are there to help you. This rule holds even when the girl in question is annoying, useless, or clearly evil.
See "Inheritance of Acquired Characteristics" Also reminds me of Grandia 2 and Millenia I think her name was. Really cool ending on that btw, Including how he gets both the women, When they were supposed tobe the same woman just different sides.

I had like a hundred Deja Vu's while reading that, and thats just for the FF-Series (gief ff12 plz, oh wait, danes can first buy that in like 6-7 months, SIGHFACE.)

Every rpg has to have a lava level it doesn't matter if you are on an ice chunk or in a paradimensional town. you will find some lava.

Practically every game ever created has lava in it.
BTW, I like the Bed, Bed, Bed rule. Gotta love sleeping  .
