Amen. I play on Hard and Heroic, and this is exactly what the AI does. In the first two weeks, all of the AI on the map will come at you with an unheard of fervor. After that, the AI just sits in its castle while you take over the entire map.

This post has it on the money. I have been on these forums since HV came out in the states and this is what I have been saying. The AI is by far the worst feature in the game.

And yes, the AI on the "extra unlockable" maps...well, I would say that they have no AI whatsoever, but that's true for the out-of-box maps. I guess those maps have "artificial retardedness" instead of "artificial intelligence."

I wish they would confirm whether or not some "bugs" are actually the way they intended them to be.  This whole empower/warlock's luck thing is really peeving me.  Is it supposed to be this way, or is it a bug?

nobody knows. I've started a topic about it and still no one told me exactly is it considered a bug. :/

Well, they corrected the Vampire Lord's HP absorption of the undead, and many thought that was intended, making up stuff like "magic animates the undead, and the VL absorbs that, not blood because he attacks with a sword and not a bite" and other foolishness, so it is a matter of time.

IMO, I think the Empower/Warlock's Luck is not a bug. For balancing purposes, it would be silly to cast Empowered Implosion for over 1,000 and get a luck roll. Can you imagine the devistation of Empowered Meteor Storm and Luck?

what about when you fight creatures possesed by another player. in a game i had one of my opponents went into battle with creatures possesed by my other opponent. he said it wouldnt let him do anything, so he alt-tabbed. then i attacked some different creatures possesed by the same player, and it went into the battle, but the "sand timer" wouldnt go away and let me perform any commands... and i dont see a fix for that in the list...

but still, YAY! thats a lot of good stuff!

can u imagine the damage of 5000 skeletons doing 1 or 2 damage each? that will probably be the amount a necromancer has by the time a warlock can do that much damage with implosion. seems like even abilities to me. and luck isnt guarenteed, so avoiding a powerful spell for a chance that it might be stronger can really get you annoyed.

agreed. And damage done by skellies can't be "resisted" or it can't be magic mirrored back to you (hi galib ^_^). Necromancy SHOULD be nerfed, gathering 1k skellies is so damn easy on every map (even small) and they do so much damage that they kill almost any stack with one hit. hillarious ^_^

With the incredible costs and low growth rate, all the Warlock has are spells.  Plus, destructive spells scale very poorly against a late-game army (Like Isabel's, for example.  Give me a list of people used Raelag to fight her and win).  Adding a warlock's luck on empowered spells would be a nice balance.
