ANY cure for synch problems??

okay, well we have all installed the new patch 1.2 and have had different stories to tell. mine has been one of failure. i have yet to complete a game without any synch errors. but i know there are people out there who have had success.....so i am wondering, if they have any advice?? i have been playing on a LAN. not himachi. just me and a friend in the same room with 2 computers. now it cant possibly get more stable than that! also i have heard some stories about the u.s. version being more stable, and i wonder if there is any truth to that?

my synch problems always seem to occur after i save, and then when we reload. i am wondering what it the "right" proces for saving and exiting a game?? i assume the one who created it should save right?, but then who exits the game screen first? the creator or the other person, and do you exit to lobby, or straight to desktop? thanks!

I don't know about them saves, becuase the only saves I loaded were autosaves.
Maybe you try doing that, I mean setting autosave on. Besides, it really is useful should any crash happen.

Jinxer and I are in a marathon game on Neighbors and have used both regular and autosaves several times over a few day span and have had no problems. We can see each other and so forth too. I also suggest you check out the other post on here regarding this issue as we are trying to figure out what might be causing this and there are some ideas there.
