I have to say forgetting her was just stupid.
Now she will just send the Zerg to ruin my perfect day...
I used to play StarCraft actively for... let me count... 6 years? Yeah, that sounds right. Man that game is awesome you'd better hope you didn't get me addicted to it again or I'll sue you

The reason I feel this guy is a bad ass is because when you look at his pic (at least with me) you think right away, bad guy. Has to be.
When he is first introduced however he sounds like a nice guy. He is in fact the perfect politician. He claims he feels for the people of Dalmasca and is only there to keep order and whatnot. He tells them how he knows many of them will hate him and the empire and he expects this but all he wants is peace. BS!
According to the story he has not only killed one of his brothers but now his father as well. He also ordered death to one of the judges for "talking back to him". This guy is one seriously screwed up A-hole who will stop at nothing to take control of as much power as he can. He seems concerned with his one remaining brother's safety but that's probably a lie as well.
This is the description the guide gives for him:
Vayne
27 years old. Hume Race.
Vayne Carudas Solidor is the eldest son of Emperor Gramis and next in line to the throne. Though he wields a considerable amount of authority, Vayne does not abuse his power; rather, he maintains that the welfare of the people is his foremost concern and tries hard to foster a positive relationship with the conquered Dalmascans.
This is how he appears early on. Your thought will be, wow, maybe I was wrong. Looks can be decieving after all. You'll change your mind though. As far as judgeing books by their cover goes...do it with this guy.

that guy is truely evil and sadistic. The worst thing he will do to you isn't killing you, or torturing you, but just driving you crazy until you can't take anymore and decide to kill yourself.

Well Guts and Dante has already been mentioned so...
Vergil. Half demon badass, wields a katana and uses battojutsu techniques. Aweeeeesome.
He evolved from being a mysterious bosscharacter in the first game to becoming one of the series most loved characters. While he is Dante's twin brother, they do not share many similarities (besides kicking massive amounts of ass)
His story is actually quite a tragic one. Upon the death of Dante and Vergil's mother, Vergil blamed himself for not having the power to protect her, and so his obsession with power was born. He seeks power at any cost, and finds the path of demons the quickest and most effective one. While Dante sees something in humans that demons don't have and embraces his half human heritage, Vergil shuns his human half and considers humans pathetic.
"Might controls everything, and without strength you cannot protect anything. Let alone yourself."
He disappears into the demon realm after Devil May Cry 3 and returns as Nero Angelus, the boss character of the first game, where he is defeated by Dante.
Hopefully, we'll see him again in Devil May Cry 5 since it is quite obvious that the new protagonist Nero shares a connection with him. I can hardly wait...

Kane is still really a badass villain.
Spoilers spirit tracks
I'd say Byrne but he appeared so infrequently that his character wasn't developed enough to be badass.
Appear, kidnap, fight, fight with link, save link, die, not actually die but go to heaven
