Zombies
Zombies don't look so good these days:
Personally, I think making them female was a BIG mistake. What do you think?

You're right. They look terrible.
It's not that they are female, I don't think that will show much on the combat screen. Rather, it's the build of the creature itself.

why do you have to see the bones? i don't like that.
They don't look like a lot of rotten flesh anymore, I'll miss that. And I hate them being female too. I think I'll never recruit them again. (not that i did it before)

they have to be female because that way they can be distinguished from the goblins(or trolls or whatever they are). same applies to the bones showing. well, i know this is not very good reasoning.. and i think that neither the goblins nor zombies are one of the best examples of homm4 graphics.

About the beautiful zombies...
Anyone thought the zombies could actually be the level 1 in Necropolis together with the imps? I mean, this really looks like a graveyard to me: (graveyard = zombie dwelling)
Then the skeletons is only available trough necromancy, like the summonable Preserve creatures... What do you think?
PS: Yes they're ugly. Glad they're not in my town...

Yeah, you're right, that might aswell be. but I don't want to start this all over, but why are there imps, cerberi, venom spawns and devils in that town anyway. Couldn't they be a little more creative? And I wonder, will you be able to ressurect devils and those others with deathmagic?
if so, I think it would be really cool if they would turn into something skeleton like. Don't you think?

I know that zombies need to be ugly... but that vein in its leg, its too much!AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!Plus the female idea is sickining. why are they green?! ill never get them if i can help it
