Well i like the gorgon picture and the idea of something unique. Sinbad the angel and archangel are the children of Elrath just like shadow\black dragons are the children of Malassa, so Elrath is in the game. I think Sylath will be too.
The orcs could not worship Sylath because it is said that when the orcs escaped they turned from the humans and the dragon gods.
A nomadic town is good idea, although Stonehelm looks like a mountain fortress. Maybe an alliance between the free cities and the nomads of Ranaar?

The Axemen alcibiades mentioned should be carrying tomahawks (kind of axes). I like Silver Dragon - Mithril Dragon.
I don't see Gorgons in this town, no, no, no, no...
But I like it overall.

So if we mix a bit our ideas we would have:
lv1 Pikeman - Haleberdier (no retaliation)
lv2 Harpie - Harpie Hag (flyer, no retaliation, strike and return)
lv3 Javelin Thrower - Skirmisher (enraged, no melee penalty)
lv4 Nomad - Raider (attack increases in castle siege)
lv5 Shaman - Sorcerer (caster)
lv6 Roc - Thunderbird (flyer, aditional lightning damage)
lv7 Silver dragon - Mithril dragon (flyer, insubtiate)
The gorgon is a unit that has to be in homm v but i don't think that this is the town. Maybe in swamp combined with some chaos units from homm iv like: troglodyte, troll, evil eye....just a thought.

The Halbardier is a unit ill suited for this town imo. The Hallebard, as opposed to the common "spear", was a weapen used specifically in the midle age European society (read: Haven), and therefore should not occur here. Spearmen would be ok, but not in the traditional (Heroes 3, Heroes 4) form, but rather like native american spear fighters, something akin to this sketch (but not necessarily mounted):
The Tomahawk is another weapon that would be good to introduce instead of the common "Axe" which has strong Dwarven affinities in my ears. And either a Javelin Thrower or a Blowpipe unit as ranged. I don't see the Harpy Hag as well suited for this town, but that's just my personal oppinion - as I said, I would prefer the Gorgon, because Gorgons in traditional Roleplaying world are plain-dwelling - that would make them go down well with the Prairie people. Also, I maintain that level 6 + level 7 flyer (Thunderbird + Dragon) is very bad for ballance - preferably, separate them a bit. And finally, I would prefer another name than "Sorcerer" - something more traditional as Shaman and Whitch Doctor would be much better suited for this setting imo. The Sorcerer is typically a term that refers to a person with some strong inherent magical abilities (often oriented towards Destructive magic) where I think this setting would call more for a Spiritualistic mage type (Light, Dark, Summoning magic).

Alc.. you should start a Nomad town thread.
And could add a Shape Shifter in there (change to a wolf or a bear or a eagle or a crab). A unit that could be more verstile depend on the situation.
But still feel a bit strange to see nomad associated with Silver dragon or Mithril dragon. Maybe a picture of what it could look like would help clear it up.

Admitted, the association with the Silver Dragon is mostly to suite the word we have that these tribal people worship the Dragon of Air. But then, sometimes these relationships should just be accepted for what they are - after all, does it make much more sense to have them allied with the Thunderbird, or that the Elves and Darkelves are allied with the Emerald and Black Dragons, except for mythological reasons?
Anyway, I might make a more detailed suggestion for a town, but I'll need a bit of time to get it all thought out for it to make sense and add something new to the game.

Harpy Hags reminds me too much of the blood fury. I don't think we should have overlapping creatures.
As for gorgons, can we have a humanoid version of the gorgon? Anyway, I'd think that gorgons will associate more with Sylanna, the dragon of Earth.

since stonehelm looks like a mountain fortress and ranaar like a step, maybe the alliance was a bad idea. There should be a mountain town and a nomad town.

Yes, thats right. The angels are the folk worshipping the dragon of light, like for example elves worshipping their dragons. They cant be compared to dragons! Watcher says they are incarnations of the dragon of light!

Angels and Archangels are Elrath's avatars. They are the children and the first servants of elrath hence when killed they do not die but raise in the heavens to Elrath.

watcher83 the town is very good however when i think pikemen i think castle(Homm3) the Haven town, in Heroes 5 the pikemen are replaced by peasents (why: they are carrying a spear).
On the other hand if you made them very different (ex more like prehistoric man) then i think it will be good after all.

Where you got from that angels are Elraths avatars? In the myth of creation is written they are the folk under Elraths protection! Like for example humans under the protection of Sylath, Elves under the protection of Sylanna... and so on. Angels cant be compared to dragons!

Ted, you may be right, but in homm4 there were peasants and pikemen(although the peasants weren't armed with a spear like the conscripts). Anyway nothing is final so suggestions are more than welcomed. And since at some point in their histories they were one faction(haven and the free cities it makes sense that their units should have some things in common).

Ok. No problem. Though I have to say that it seemed strange that devils and angels were also children of dragons just like regular dragons. And if so, just a question, why have a black dragon as the children of malassa and not the mysterious faceless. Black dragons could have been somewhere else( and than again black dragons and minotaurs were always in the same castle - dungeon or the other names- from homm1 to homm5).
