I have a question about how HV handles saved game data and map/campaign progress information and I figured you modders were the best to ask. What I have is a Heroes V installation that is corrupt somehow and won't load (Windows error on initial splash image screen) but has the saved game and campeign information that I would like to be able to extract and insert into a good installation of Heroes V that does not have the desired game progress information. In Heroes III this was a simple matter but HV handles this completely differently. Just wondering if anyone here knows if this is possible and if so how?
You just have to save your profile folder, located in "My Documents/My Games/Heroes of Might and Magic V/Profiles".
Your saved games and campaign info are stored there.
