After all YOU can make new maps. In HoMM2 there is editor, which make maps without your help.

I wouldn't try the generator. It will drop artifdacts unguarded all over the map, drop creatures that you cam easily avoid etc. I just think it's useless. You can find the URL address of the mas in the "For all those Heroes2 fans out there" thread.

I think I can really help you out, my design can make your site look cool & professional. I can also give you tips on how to design a great site yourself, and maybe even help you with the content of your site, so just contact me if you're interested. I'm regarded the best designer in the company I work for. Even if you do not need any help in designing your site, I can at least make some banners for you to advertise on other websites. I will soon send you some examples of what I am capable and you'll decide yourself. I can ask some fellow programmers to join us, and help you with the hard stuff....

...heh, well as always, I'm still looking for people who actually know how to program stuff for my own site, but thats not the case here...its great that you're making a site, and while I'm stil not absolutely sure what it is you're looking for, I can't really help you out much...however, be sure to give us the link when you're done, and we can all give you a big boost in promoting it

I would agree with site design using minimal flash as not everyone has access to broadband connections.
For site content, ask the question what is the purpose of this site? Are you making the site as an informative site for new comers? A map site?
Obviously you have had a look at lots of other sites, try and find things that will make your site unique.....not just "another" HOMM site.
Having a purpose will help direct you on what the content will be and help us help you come up with more ideas!
Hope Ive been of a little help at least

I'm glad your'e interested. I have some other friends in 'DreamWeb Design' and I think they can help you too. Please tell me what colours are you going to use in your site. The site should be designed in the same 1 to 4 colours to make it look professional. For example, this site, 'Heroes Community', is made of Green, Gold and White only. Please tell me what you want me to do and I'll get started.

I think it would be blue with a little gold and green.
BTW, I already know how will my menubar look, I'ts Flash menu-bar, in which threr are swords in the thing you put them to (I don't know the word), ond when the mouse comes over it, the "thing" is moving away, revealing the text under it. I think it's nice

Good Choice. The most common color will be blue, as the text will be green. The titles and Alinks will be Gold. Sounds good?

Great News!
...however, I know it was your intent, but I'm not too sure how well the swords would function...its pretty cool and all, but isn't the main point to a site, to make it as simplistic and yet elegant as possible? ...by that, most webmasters try to make their site as easily navigatable, fast, and easy to read...
...I suppose you're not completely finished, or it could just be me, but I do believe that some of your pics aren't correclty linked or something...also, I think you need a change of colors. May I suggest you either change the background to a darker shade of blue and changing your lime green to white, or simply change the green into a much darker shade, or transform it into a dark yellow, red, or very dark blue...the main thing is that the green font is nearly impossibly to read, against the background...
...otherwise, everything looks to be coming along nicely

Colour Scheme
I agree with RMS, the colours are very hard on the eyes and the green is hard to read. Would be a lot easier to make the colours a little darker.

Yeah I've got some problems
I know I've got some problems, and you right, I'm not finished yet. I have some problems with the maps section. I think I've fixed the pics problem.
BTW, thanks for saying me about the colors problem, I have some screen problems, so I can't see how exactly will it look. I'll fix it soon.

I got back to it
Finally LOL.
I will do the site, this time for real, and I'll finish it too. The design will be diffrent, I'm getting rid of the Flash [for now]. The site will be about ALL of the HoMM's, including 1. I'm collecting the info right now. I know, that it's not so hard to find some info's. But, I've made the almost full list of H3 creatures (without neutrals yet). But due to the fact that my HoMM 3 is Russian, and I can't find my English version, I cant remember all of them. som I want you to help me to fill the gaps, and, mainly, correct the misspells. so here we go:
