I dunno if this has been asked but, did drink or food have anything to do with him getting a heart attack?

Summary:
"Chris meets Steve in a hotel bar. After a heated discussion on a specific topic, they leave the bar together, heading upstairs. Halfway up the stairs, Steve clutches his chest, then punches Chris in the face."
Did Steve have a bad heart? Yes
If yes, did Chris know it? Irrelevant
Did they meet at the bar for the first time? Yes
Was one of them staying at the hotel? Yes, they both were
Was one of them working at the hotel? No
Were either / both in the medical profession? Steve - No, Chris - Irrelevant
Was their discussion related to their jobs? Yes, to Steve's
Was it related to their hobbies? Yes, Steve's job is kind of his hobby too
Was it related to personal preferences? No, not preferences, but certainly opinions...
Was it related to their families? Yes
Did Chris threaten Steve's family? No, in fact, more like the opposite
Is it normal for Steve to punch someone he's had an argument with in the face? (Or even better - has he ever done it before?) No it is not normal; No, he has not done it before in these circumstances.
It sounds like Steve's profession matter here. It is PERHARPS related to medicine? "Related" is a pretty inclusive word, yet you can't even give a firm yes to that? No (okay, I'll answer conclusively on this one), his profession is not medical-related.did steve have a heart attack? Yes
did steve feel that chris was provoking him? No
did they leave together and go upstairs to settle some kind of dispute? if so did it have to do with steve's hobby/profession? No
did chris impugn or challange steve's abilities? Yes
was their meeting a completely random occurence or was there some type of function/conference/meeting that they were both going to? Yes, it was random
did religion play any part of the dispute? No
Does Chris' job matter? No, so long as it's not the same as Steve's
Did they go upstairs in peaceful mind? Yes
Was Chris having an afair with Steve's wife/partner? Whoops, I meant the opposite as in, Steve threatened Chris's family!
Is Steve a social worker? No
Is Steve involved in illegal activities? No
Is Steve a hitman, murderer, assasin or a spy? No
Did Chris do something to make Steve have a heart attack? No

Was Steve a hypnotist?
If Steve was a hypnotist, did he punch Chris to snap him out of what he had just told him? Were they heading upstairs so that Chris's family could see the results of the hypnosis?

Ahh, that's got to be it. Steve hypnotized Chris and led him upstairs. When Steve had a heart attack and realized he might die, he punched Chris so that Chris would awake and not spend the rest of his life thinking he was a chicken.
