I really think that the trolls should do a comeback from H2!
They add something to the game.
The Warren is a great idea in my opinion.
But I think we'll see them at Nival's orcs town.

alcibiades: it's not a BAD idea -- a "wyrm" faction would suit.. dragons are wyrms, but wyrms can also be smaller, weaker, dragonlings, some reptile-like dragons, etc..
also there wouldn't be "too many" dragons -- you could wipe out the existing dragons from the existing factions and put them in this new faction. In my opinion this would be better (except probably the necro dragon, which is dead so it's kinda weird to add it here).
Personally, I don't like to see 1 dragon in each faction (ok, academy, haven and inferno are exceptions though), but rather united in a dragon faction or something like that. But it may break the HOMM stuff, or universe i dunno

Eh, how did someone translate my post into "I like the idea"? 
Anyway, grouping the Black Dragon, the Emerald Dragon and the Magma Dragon into the same faction - aren't anybody concerned that that faction is going to be *slightly* ... eh ... off balance?

that wouldn't work, as the entire religion of Ashan is about the Dragon-gods and their children for the different factions. wiping all the other dragons out will be a grave mistake. as i say, take my advice, use dragon-humans, dragonians, as troops, or hatchlings, or creatures worshiping dragons in their own right, or the legendary dragon-knights, rather than actual dragons

I work now on a Mechnical Town including mechanical creatures and goblins as mechanikers...
Now I got some in my mind:
Level 2 or Level 3: Living Armor
Level 2: Goblin Flame Caster (actually with boblic face...)
Level 7: Dragon Golem (yeah my fellows! )
Level 5 or Level 6:Something like a huge golem but in its "stomach" is a goblin. What the goblin make it will do the golem, too.) --poor grammar I know
What do you say to THAT?

the premise sounds good, but try and find another creature, i think this game has too many goblins!
also, make the constructions out of wood, it seems a bit too advanced in H5 to be making constructions out of metal.

some interesting ideas poping up here, lets start with a dragon faction
imo i think its an alright faction but i've seen better, a few ideas for units..
level 1. Egg-->Hacthling
Level 3. Dragon tamer--> experianced Dragon tamer
Level 7. Dragon King--> Dragon Queen (sorry for being sexist)
but i dont know if it will fit, also having a faction with 6 level 7s is not very fair, + you got think of new units for the other facions

it doesn't have to be cancelled if you make a list of creatures...
just remember, don't do all dragons, and take the option of getting rid of the other dragons in the other factions, that wouldn't work, as the entire religion of Ashan is about the Dragon-gods and their children for the different factions. wiping all the other dragons out will be a grave mistake. as i say, take my advice, use dragon-humans, dragonians, as troops, or hatchlings, or creatures worshiping dragons in their own right, or the legendary dragon-knights, rather than actual dragons. if you really want a dragon, limit it to just 1, as they are usually a level 7 creature.

If I know right, from the four basic elements (fire, water, earth and air) were used three already. Let us make an Air Town. (not the same town like the Sky Dome!!!)
There can be a lots of flyer creatures or minimal four or five. There can be bird riders, hunter birds, mutant birds, everythin that could fly... ( okokok, not just birds: f.e: wyverns, harpies, rocs,...etc. just to give some examples.
