I'm not sore about anything, I just had a déja vue.

And actually, I would love it if someone came up with a great idea as to how to include the "missing" creatures in the factions - but so far, I have seen nothing better than ActionJack's original suggestion.

Elementals to towns

How about if Ubi added 1 elemental to each town? Something like this:

Inferno=fire
Sylvan=water
Dungeon=earth
Academy=air
Haven=light
Necro=darkness
Fortress=ice

What do you think?

I say, if the elementals should be added to a town, let them go to the conflux. Not only because it's a bad idea to make up a lot of new elementals with no need for them, just because the number of elementals have to match the number of factions (why is there suddenly both an Ice and a Water elemental?), but also because the addition of the elementals would seem out of place and useless in the towns.

it wouldn't work, probably because you have the elementals wrong. if it was to work it would be something like this:

all the races who worship an elemental dragon has an elemental.
haven=light
Slyvan=earth
fortress=fire
dungeon=darkness
(the naga faction)=water
(the orc, ogre or free cities faction)= air

the other towns would have to have a different unit.

If they were to do this, shouldn't Fortress have the fire elemental since the dragon they worship is the dragon of fire?

Anyhow.. just thought of any possible way in adding new creatures while reading another thread....

Have them produce from external town dwelling or Merc camp.  
That way, could forgoe the messyness of adding it as part of town.  

Another intersting possiblity is a no-level creature.  Could be a summon elemental creatures, like the suggested elementals.  Instead, they gain level thought Heroes deed...  

So for example, you can summon a Fire Elemental unit in your town after building its production building.  It will have a growth rate of 1 per week, and stat similar to that of lv 2 units.  Your Hero can find special artifacts, or conqure special buildings on the map, which with gain, will imporve the stats and growth rate of that fire elemental... and so on...  

I think those are few other good ways into adding more creatures....
