MMH55 is compatible only with 3.0 scripting functions. If you need to ask Magno something go ahead and do it, I dont have exclusive access to him.

Book 3 of Heroes V: Legends of the Ancients - Release

Dear Heroes Community,

The Legend of the Ancients (LotA) team is proud to present Book 3 of HOMM5: LotA.

Book 3 is the work of dedicated HOMM fans that started around 2008-2009.

Book 3 features innovative ideas not seen in the previous books of LotA and in all HOMM5 Campaigns (to the best of our knowledge), and also features themes from previous games in the M&M Universe.

We are hopeful that you will enjoy playing the campaign as much as it was for the LotA team to implement it.

Please note the following for Book 3 of HOMM5: LotA:

   1) It is only compatible with version 3.1;
   2) Make sure that the option "No EyeCandies" is left unchecked; and
   3) The game has been tested on Hard difficulty (for full AI).

Bugs, comments and suggestions may be reported on this thread.

But mate, the work on Book 3 HAD been announced.. shame on you anyway awsome news. Hope you guys get a lot a valuable feedback and that book 4 will eventually also be completed.

A million thanks to LotA team for such an awesome campaign.
I played the first 2 parts a couple of months ago, and now started playing the 3rd one, and so far it's going great.
And special thanks for adding memory mentors.
If only artifact sets were transferrable too, like in TOTE...

There is a rare bug I've never encountered before: when you order a soldier to attack an enemy stack but it attacks another stack standing next to the cell (or a group of cells for large soldiers) where your stack ends its turn (so the destination is correct, but the target isn't). Doesn't look like a spell effect or anything, just a big.
So far it happened in 2 battles (just ordinary battles with neutral monsters) out of like couple of hundreds I had.

Also, on a side note, I'd highly recommend new players of part 3 to develop a certain "N" hero you encounter in the middle of the first scenario as strong dark mage and pathfinder (logistics => pathfinding, swift mind; dark magic; sorcery; enlightenment). If I didn't do that (though my thoughts were that he would be supporting character so it wasn't my usual build), I'd probably ragequit in some of the later missions.
Not that they're not doable (I guess...) since there are puzzles after solving which you weaken some of your OP enemies, but sometimes it's just faster, easier and lossless with PM and Frenzy.

Could you let me know on which map you have encountered the bug?

I'm not sure the bug you've encountered is tied to the mod. However, there are certain combats that are scripted so it's possible that it may come from that.

Please let me know.

It happened once on the first map of the third part and (eventually) 2 times on the fifth map of the third part.
The fights were usual, just some of many fights against regular monsters.

Also, iirc all 3 times that bug happened to jousters/paladins.

Like they would charge but after stopping would hit E1 instead of E2/E2+E3 (who I actually ordered them to hit).
I replayed those fights several times to make sure I didn't just misclick.

I don't know if it's mod-related but I never encountered that before in HOMM5.

Please not that Jousters/Paladins cannot be hired in B3C1 so I doubt you've encountered the bug in B3C1. Perhaps it was more in B3C3 and B3C5.

Book 3 of HOMM5: LotA - Version 2

Changes are as follows:
- General: Vampirism and Divine Vengeance spells disabled.
- B3C1 Script: Joining creatures will properly be happy after rescuing them.
- B3C1 Script: Army in Tomb of Askhelion properly grows in accordance to the number of weeks.
- B3C1 Script: Guruthos Army now properly grows in accordance to the number of weeks.
- B3C2 AdvMap: Rune Patriarch (guarding gold mine) neutral has now a fixed number of creature.
- B3C2 Script: Added Interact sound on various custom map locations (e.g. Equilibris Church).
- B3C3 Script: Stronghold buildings now accessible upon capturing them.
- B3C3 Script: Defeat Deluun Quest now reappears properly upon losing the town.
- B3C3 Script: Frost Giant Armies now properly grows in accordance to the number of weeks.
- B3C4 Script: Joining creatures will properly be happy after rescuing them.
- B3C5 Script: Added Interact sound on various custom map locations (e.g. Base location Flag).
- B3C5 Script: Fixed a bug where heroes did not need to actually win against neutral troops for the troops to disappear.
- B3C6 Script: Added Interact sound on various custom map locations (e.g. Nexus of Chaos).
- B3C6 Script: Several Armies (Special Elemental StockPiles, Special Mage Vault) properly grows in accordance to the number of weeks.
- B3C6 Script: Njam Army now properly grows in accordance to the number of weeks.

Huh, you're right.
But I'm pretty sure it was on the first map, so it must have been some other creature then, probably archangels or maybe griffins with boots of speed.
I just remember that all 3 times it meddled with my turn 1 charge strategy.

Vampirism is a bit OP, but why DV? It's like the last hope of a losing hero during some boss fights, other than that it's pretty useless.

Got your message and will see what I have left. After being in and out 3 times now and having 2 HD-melts? Not sure but "think" I can put something together off thumbs that should be close. Fyi, I cannot reply to you for some odd reason, so I'll look into that. Progress...what a joke.

Btw, make sure I did not send you all I had and did already? I may be thinking of years back, etc.

I'm stuck in B3C4.  Need to get to the underworld but the boat is blocked by Urko wanting to know if I have found Skraelos yet.  There is nothing left to do on the map, so i'm lost....
