Hmm... I wonder if Sunken Kingdom be released before/after TotE. Would be difficult to prioritize which to play first if both are released at the same time...

Began playing it the other day. I must say that the second mission is AWESOME  Very smart having you to run around the maze and avoiding the actual fight until you are strong enough(or find something - not sure )

Is there a specific thread for this mission somewhere or can you share some tips here? I mean, i'm having some troubles with the second mission mainly because of the manticores in garrisons. I need to advance to the enemy's castle to get full dark magic(since i feel thats really the only way i can beat him) but those damn manticores always take something to grave with 'em. There is only so much you can do with Scouts, maidens, raiders and tactics since i don't have enough spellpower for my destruction magic to be efficient. Second time i managed to lose only 6 raiders when i arrived at the second garrison, i was gonna summon reinforcements but Week of disease hit and i was screwed.
Thought a pro could share some valuable tips on this one. It's a great mission though...

I'm no pro but using just the furies and 4 scouts works Just have them in the middle, attack a few times and when they get close hide behind the scouts all the while using hit and runs. If you get teleport assault or master of fire with fireball(there should be a scroll somewhere) it will get easier.
So far I have been running around for I think two weeks exploring the place and leveling up. I'll see what happens when I have explored everything but my furies can kill 9 manticores with luck and I think I'm lvl 17.

I just won second mission! I visited the artifact merchants on the first days of month 2 and I got a tome of dark LOL! I kept frenzying his minotaurs and hydras - manticores died instanly - until only the former remained. Then a simple puppet and I could keep hitting the minotaurs till he lost  Few of my units remained when yellow appeared. I went to get red's town, captured a few dwellings and then returned to take my starting town. He followed, attacked me in town and lost.

Did Book 3 ever get finished?.....I don't think so as all the posts and the main site only have books 1 and 2.
I just played books 1 and 2 and loved them very much...loved the map where you running around and can't take enemy castles, but have a time limit before they get too strong and come attack you!

Guys, when you download the file you get three components:
- Mods (copy this into your UserMods directory)
- Music (copy this into your music directory)
- Maps (copy this into your maps directory)
all under the directory of Heroes V Tribes....
and you must have Version 3.1.
Should work.
