one of your factions need to be more... "human". the draconians need to have more prominance if they are the title of the faction, so some heroes. please don't use really powerful dragons, and use older Heroes creatures, like Wyverns and the like.
also, knight dougal, your shaman faction is very good, but maybe you could use a creature that has something to do with shamanism?. if anything, actionjack's faction should get the hatchling. he's done a really good job on it.
Bixie's lineup has "Hatchlin" too...
The heroes will be all Draconians. The way I see it, the dragons and drakes and wyrm of this faction are more primal and brutish, with beastile intellegence (much like compare elf (true dragons) with Giants ). The intellegence would go to Draconians, who lead and tend those beast, thought they don't have the size.
Wyerns could be use.. if it can fit into the placement.
Still would say King Dragon is not overpower. They are only good if they can be use well (or with proper support) else, they could fall easie victim to a better general. One counter strategy is actually use their wide range attack, and attack them to cause them to retiliate that would also harm its own troops.
Would say if it is one vs one, Emerald Dragon, Black Dragon, and Titan, and Arch Devel (with summon pit lord) would have lot better chance of winning, while Archangel and Spectral would have okie chance. Of couse, when added with heros and other creatures, it make such caculation more complex.
In battle, its not always the one with bigger gun that would win the day....

using beastily intelligence won't work. if they are more primal and brutish that the other factions, why did you include names like samurai?

another thing is, that if the creature is called "KING DRAGON" alot of people assume its the best and won't play as other factions, so we won't find out whether they have a good chance or not.

Uh.. so you didn't read the "The intellegence would go to Draconian" part? Draconian would have human like intellengent, and more (cause they can have longer age). They tend, tame, and control other less intellegent dragon creatures, and have a their own culture and social structures.

Its not just the theme, but how it could effect, change, or improve on the overall theme-strategy. (as of now, its more themed toward good melee but slow flyers)

Its all in the name. As said, it could be change, but I am not going to be the one changing it, as it suits what I like. Its not "King of Dragon", or "Dragon King". No need for a stupidity special (althought there are still other balancer that can be use). For if it is overpower or not, I will wait when someone can actually play test it to have a better final say.

Uh... if you say so... but won't that mean if you do have it in a expansion pack, lots people will want to try it and buy it, which is good for the devs.

Not if the tank is out of Ammo and Gas, and you caught them unsuspected with hatch open, and you have a grenade lunching slingshot. Its all very situational.
