Bring In The New Year (2007)

2007 is just days away so I thought now would be an excelent time to close out this year and bring in the new.
How did this year treat you?  It seemed to just whiz by for me.
I'd like to hear your thoughts and any Resolutions you have for the new year.

Well at the start of this year I nearly got expelled from school, luckily I was allowed to stay and since I have improved myself.

At the end of this year I passed my School Certificate allowing me to go onto Year's 11 and Year 12 and then I can complete my HSC.

This year went pretty fast, it went by very fast indeed, but I have enjoyed myself both in Real Life and here at HC, even though I havent been here for that long, I have enjoyed myself immensely and will continue to stay here for many many more years to come

I don't have much planned for this new year, but I am sur it will be fun

2006 was a very strange year for me...

When it began I was still a school student with a lot of free time. The first half of the year passed really fast with all the test and parties and the "end of the school events"' like the Prom. These were probably the happiest months of my life, and it's so sad to see them gone.

A few days after the Prom the Second Lebanon War started, and I was stuck at home (occasionaly running to the bunker downstairs) instead of partying with my friends before the go to the army. I still stop everything I'm doing for a second when I hear a loud boom.

When the war was over, so was the summer and then came two months of total boredom, because most of my friends started serving in the army and was left all alone... These were definatly the most boring months of my life

And in November I started my first semester in the University of Technion and has been a living hell since then... Hopefully I'll get used to it in 2007!

I'm not really in a hurry to see the end of 2006. I've got too many things that need to be done before New Year's Eve. Gawds damnit.

2006 was the best year of my life!
I was (and I hope I'll still be) very happy...
I just enjoyed life.

Even I had a long dungerous disease, I was happy.
And I knew it will be done.

I hope you all had also a good year.

2006 was terrible year for me, and strange too, many new things, and I was some kind of "Internet-exile" (long story, nothing criminally, just in the bad time and in bad moment maybe)...but there is something good, I have totally new comprehension for the life and many, many .....

Ohhh but how we say in Bulgaria "Nova godina - nov kasmet" (en: New year - new luck)

This 2006 year was pretty good for me.  SO far my school year has gone good and I can't wait to go back from break and see all my good friends.

I did however fracture my ankle in the spring in my soccer game and had to have a cast for most of the summer....which was a real bummer (i didn't mean to make that rhyme ).  I wasn't able to play softball because of the darn cast and so my summer was pretty much ruined.  I finally got my cast off and got to enjoy about 2 weeks of summer before having to start this new school year.

I made many new friends and did good in my 1st semester of school and passed all my classes with very good grades.

My 15 birthday was fun and i had a lot of good presents from my family.  I can't wait to turn 16 now....lol.  bet my fam can't wait for that.

I got one of the best gifts ever for Christmas and I couldn't be happier.  (an ipod nano-PINK!) My family has been fairly good to me and I couldn't ask for anyone else.

My bro and I have always gone to my Great Aunt's house for New Year's Eve and ate burnt pizza with her, then watched the ball drop.  After that, my bro and I would always go watch some South Park until like 2 am and then we go to bed.

This year however, we are goin' to have more fun i think.  We are goin to my Godfather's house and him and his wife are going out, leaving me and my brother at their house with their 6 yr. old boy and almost 3 yr. old boy.  All we have to do is watch them until prolly 9:00 and then they go to bed.  My bro and I will get the house (and food) to ourselves.  We'll see if this is gonna be our new tradition.

In closing, I wish you all a Happy New Year and hope that everything goes well for you all.

Geny, I don't live in the north of Israeli like you.
I live in the middle, near Tel-Aviv.
But I know how hard it is to hear that the rockets are coming.
It horibble.

I hope it's won't happend again, the rockets' attack on the houses...
Good and peaceful year.

2006 was a year of emotion  Lots of them, and all different kinds

Of course it was the year I found HC and gained a healthy addiction to spam, got to interact with some interesting and definately amusing people here, and lost a good month or so to the ICTC

Now 2007 is approaching quickly :wow:

New Years Resolutions...

I think I gave up on those long ago lol.  I am racking my brains to think of one htat I have made and actually followed through with

So I am going to embrace the next 12 months, take whatever they bring and try to make it as positive as I can  I learnt heaps this year, I need to use that to move foward and hopefully not repeat too many of the same old mistakes again.

{Must follow through with the student beatings discipline }

Man... stop thinking about work, so much to do, Hawaii awaits

Happy Happy 2007 HC, thanks for the laughs this year

Two Thousand Six

2006 was a very interesting year.  Started off with excitement and hope.  Always something to do.  Then there was a  tide of bad luck, but it soon ended.  Good times followed and they stayed.  Unquestionably had the best damn summer of my life.  So many memorable moments.  Eventually my good friends and I had to split because of college.  I saw several of them quite often, fun stuff.  Got close with a really sweet girl, good times.  Thanksgiving was filled with excitement, got to see all my old friends again.  December was a remarkable month, there was so much going on.  However it was layed with deception, which was depressing.  Overall though, Good Year.

P.S. - My excuse for the repetitive dull writing above is it's 2am.  I'm tired
