How can you lure a magic elemental with speed 9, when there is no obsticles on the battlefield? In the position of the screenshot they can reach any tile of the battlefield.
Am i missing something?

Actually it's possible but depends a lot on luck and is dangerous because one little misclick and you are dead. On my map I did have an obsticle, but it was still difficult to manipulate the ellies into the right position. The safest way is to hop around and wait for morale. zzzzzzz I'd rather use force field.

can someone tell me if i should be fighting aine now or come back later?
I have roughly
550 familiars
400 gogs
160 horned demons
180 cerberi
120 pit lords
85 efreet sultans
44 arch devils.
She has...
23000 master gremlins
1200 archmages
Do i fight her now or later? (8000 of those grems can hit 3.5k melee :S)
If i fight her now, any tips? apart from starting with mass forgetfulness. Mass slow doesn't help later, aine just mass hastes =.=
And then later the battle becomes alternately... aine mass bless, my hero mass curse.... and then..... my hero mass bless, aine mass curse >.<" I was left with 30 gogs in the end... not good.
On that note... i fought a 10 minute battle a bit earlier killing around 40000 master gremlins (mass forgetfulness, slow, blind and familiar luring )... yet the win-battle screen only shows me killing 167.... strange?

No need. You blind both stacks the next 2 turns. Then you always hit and blind...and hit and blind.....

The most powerful of all: Expert Town Portal.
From only combat spells, I'd say Implosion. (With über Power of course!)

As mentioned above, this map is called "To kill for Power". One of better XL+U singleplayer maps with good stroyline and great fights. Same league as "Unleashing the Bloodthirsty", "The Empire of the World II", "The Lord of War", "The Lone Knight" and some more....
And u have a bunch full of Inferno towns on that map, besides a bunch full of devil dwellings. Map ends (iirc) in month 8.

I think the most powerfull spell is bless, in longer battles, but in general is the sacrifice.

How do you use the combination of expert clone and archangels in a main fight on neutral land?
Do you wait with your original archangels and attack with the clone rightafter (and hope o kill a whole stack and therefore enemy has to use a turn to kill the clone)?
is'nt it to risky to wait with the clone of the archangels as it is only neccessary for the enemy to touch the clone and it will die?
or do you prefer to attack with original one and then resurrect them with the clone. Then again the benefit from resurrection (damage=one retalliation) is small and the angels has jumped into the arms of the enemy.
many have mentioned clone and archangels but i have'nt seen any explanation of a tactic.
I did'nt find any btter place to write this post...
