I didn't like it... so I made my own!
LOL... I'm having fun. So you know how I was unhappy with the way the heroes IV towns look now, in that they look very unnatural and marth-stewardish?  Well, I decided to render my own version of the preserve town. I'll post it when I'm done (in a couple days) and see what you guys think of it. Right now I am going to add the castle, town hall, portal of summoning, mage guild, shipyard, fairy garden, wolf cave, elf treehouse, mushroom ring(satyrs, leprechaun pot, unicorn glade, magic forest and funeral pyre. I'm doing my own version because i think it'll be fun and I hate the way most of the buildings look right now (especially for preserve!)

Okay, you say the H4 towns need a change and you are going to start with Preserve?!!!
It's the best looking town!
I don't understand it...

Naw.. i should rephrase that. I personally don't like the basic layout of the heroes IV towns, in that they look very unnatural. So I'm going to post a picture of my own work of what I think it should look something like. Here's what my base ground is, and I will start adding the structures I mentioned above. Note that I am doing this just for fun and this is the way I THINK they should look.. just to give you another perspective.

I didn't say the preserve town looked horrible... if it did then so would everyone else. I just said I was going to have some fun by creating my own look of the town so that it didn't look so unnatural and everything nicely spaced. Don't get me wrong, i like the way the preserve looks, but some buildings should be smaller, and there should be more forshortening.

I really miss that the creatures were standing outside their buildings like in HoMM 1 that was really cool

No, they were called Phoenix in HOMM1.
They looked best in HOMM2 with their rainbow shine. They lost that in HOMM3 and just became a bird on fire.
