What is your favorite Band/Singer?

their a scottish Metal band, great live gigs, werewolf constumes, blood effects, always in a wooded alcove. music isn't great, but the live stuff is just so fun!

a english metal band whose songs are completely comprised of guitar solos!

Well, out of newer ones, Marilyn Manson. SOAD takes the second place I guess...
Of older guys, I'd go with AC/DC. And Azra, but that band wasn't very well known outside ex-Yugoslavia

I posted a couple days ago and decided to look for some new music, so I went ahead and did.
I found a band that plays symphonic metal and it's surprisingly good.
The band is from Finland and is called Nightwish.
Out of the songs of theirs that I have heard, there are 2 that I like the best. The first being "Sleeping Sun" and the second being "Crimson Tide".
Also there is another band that I like and have known about for a while called Godsmack. Out of their songs I like "I stand alone" and "Straight out of line".

Ever heard Bless the Child or Nightquest?
Over the Hills and Far Away (cover) is also very good
and maybe Nemo
I'm also a fan of Nightwish
Even bought few cds of theirs

Bono and U2 are giants among rock stars.
Lacuna Coil is brilliant. Evanescence ripped off their sound and couldn't even compare.
The Stone Roses was probably my favorite band though. Ian Brown was a terrible lead singer though. John Squire deserved better.
