Best way of making a creature screenshot

This is not a mod-thread, rather a straight question regarding the editor.

Greetings!
Since I am planning a website, I am really looking for the best way to make a screenshot of every creature and map object in the game.
In the editor there are many restrictions to this:

1. If you make a screenshot over ground, you will have the sky as background, which is not so easy to extract the creature graphics from.
If you rather choose to shoot underground, you still have some background but the light is then much weaker.

2. The angle of the creature: If you shoot straight in front of the creature/object, you are not able to get so close as if you go in an angle from the top.

3. There is the faction-aura swirling around the legs of all creatures. Is it possible to get rid of this? (without shooting from beneath)

My question therefore is: What is the best way to get good screenshots of the creatures/object?

Hopefully with a pure black background taken slightly from above. Is it possible to add lighting effects to the creatures/objects, just like in a 3D-program?
I am looking for good quality shots like the H4-renders, just more taken in front. http://www.heroes.net.ru/ssmon4-00.shtml

All help will be most apprecieated

If you don't want the in-game backgrounds, you are not taking a screenshot...

What you want is extract the graphics.

I don't know what format the data is in, or even where they are, but seeing people have already done mods on the unit graphics (e.g. treant and inquisitor), I think the information might be discovered already.

Try asking in the mod forum...

Thanks!

lol with that you will only get the texture, without the model so it's not the solution

First, I asked this thread to be moved over to the mod section.

I have sort of solved the problem by making a huge snow hill behind the creature (which for some reason does not show the aura)
On the other hand, a pure black background would be much more to prefer as I wouldn not have to delete the white fields.

I have a picture of it.

Is it possible to put in an image without having it on the net? The image-link that shows only give codes for a hyperlink.

I did that, but it isn't the camera angle which is the problem, rather that you can't cover the sky with a black background. As I am going to extract all map objects, creatures and heroes it will take lots of time if I should have to remove the white bits from all the images.

If you want to make a perfect screenshot open the folder where Heroes is installed and go to the profiles folden and open the editor.cfg file (editor_a1 for hof). And set editor mode to 2 or 9. Open the editor and select the new resource tab and select open resource. Change the top scroll bar to CharcterView and open the creatures folder there select the creature you want. Open the Creaturename_LOD.(CharacterView) Press the Play button. And voila you can take the screenshot Ps to remove the Background press sttings and select a light some have no background

Thanks Valery for the transfer, it sure helped

This has helped me much Kronos I had to shoot from above underground earlier with faded light.

Something which is a bit annoying though is that you can't remove the grid or get the background and ground in the same colour.

Optimally I would like a pure black background with a good light.

Is it possible to adjust the light in the editors normal setup, when placing creatures on the map? For example light up the underground a bit - or to take away the background in the normal editor?

Is it by the way possible to delete the shadows?
