What are the 5 Worst Games of all time?
Now, let me ask you a question.
What are the 5 worst games of all time?
Sure, many games might be good in their own unique ways, but that doesnt hide the fact that they might be a real stinker!
If you have played any game that you think is really bad, please share it with us.
If you like to, you can do it in categories like:
Computer Xbox PS2 Wii
-------- ------ ----- ------
HOMM Burnout Burnout2 Zelda
Lemmings Fable Burnout3 Mario
Etc etc, you can do it like that, or just have it similar to that but in a better format.
Well anyway, I am looking forward to your personal 5 worst games of all time

Worst I've played.
Populous
Zork Grand Inquisitor
Black and White
Age of Wonders
Gettysburg
And some stupid game I don't know the name of. You went around doing very simple quests. As a "reward" for completing each one, you got a bunch of psychedelic colors on the screen and some really low budget music for about 20 seconds ---- that's all it was.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005 is actually a pretty good golf game.
Sims games are very fun and good to play aswell.
Basically you like hardly any game then?
And I said the 5 worst games, not the 10 worst games

Lemme see...
Stronghold 2 (What more there is to say?)
Battle of Troy (You have a limit of about 15 soldiers... 15 soldiers in the siege of troy?!)
Superpower 2 (It's like agame in which you can lead any modern country, but it's just too boring and complicated to be fun. Plus, if you choose a country with a weak economy, it's game over in the first 2 minutes, unless you legalize drugs and poligamy... I mean, wtf?! Ok, I always legalize that anyway, but still )
American Conquest (A good game, the only strategy I know in which the buildings are of normal size compared to units - not like in Warcraft for example - but the problem is you have access to about two different units per a faction... out of whom one is totally useless. For example, the Aztecs have archers and spearmen and archers are such crap they're not even worth buying)
War of the Ring (LOL one of the crappiest games ever)
And probably Sacred (You have a route. During that route are goblins. A lot of goblins. You go and kill goblins. There are goblin shamans who bind you to the ground so that you kill goblins harder. You still kill goblins. A tough goblin comes by. You kill him. You kill an evil cultist. Then you kill more goblins. When you come to the orc lands, you kill orcs but there are still goblins. You kill goblins. After that you come to the castle of a human landlord. You buy potions and then come out to kill goblins. When you find yourself in the frosty mountains, searching for a long lost temple, thinking how there can't be goblins here, the frost goblins are there to crush all your hopes. When I saw them I just stopped playing).

Yeah War of the Ring was pretty bad.
So was Arx Fatalis, anyone ever play that?
It tried to be like Might and Magic Dark Messiah, but failed miserably.

Quote: Populous
You don't mean Populous 3: The Beginning, do you? It gave me a divinely good time!
I've played many games in my time (although not nearly as many as William), but I don't recall playing many that I hated. I generally receive some degree of enjoyment from all the stuff I play, but a "worst game" simply doesn't come to mind.
I guess the plus side of being more money-tight (than, say, William) is that I never really go out to buy games that turn out to be truly horrible. My main focus was to get games I knew that I wanted.
Nevertheless, I still remember the day I had my mom buy me Super Solvers Spellbound! and one of those Chessmaster editions. In retrospect, I could've spent my money on better games had I only known about what was out there. Man, I didn't even run the latter more than four times, I think. Please don't flame me, though, since this was before I'd even heard about Heroes 2 or Warcraft 2.

My Polulous doesn't have a number 3, but it's called Populous the Beginning and copyright 1998. In general I don't like real time. And I don't like those little tiny people. I just remember those people running around like crazy like they had all overdosed on amphetamines.
This is the one I have:

I actually found The Sims on Xbox to be really really fun, nice and fun to play.
Had many good times playing and finishing it

Metalheart, Polish version. The original may have had some merit, but the thing I've seen was practically unplayable.
Dialogue options leading to the character saying completely different things than would normally be expected?
Multiple, non-interchangable ammunition types merely called "bullets", leading to lots and lots of confusion?

Spellbound! was a disappointment, especially if you got it because you liked Outnumbered! and Midnight Rescue!. Instead of running around zapping robots and picking up clues, you did crossword puzzles and word finds. indeed.
The Manhole...running around a bizarre, surreal world (very Alice-in-Wonderland) in search of a plot, some action, or really any kind of point. You won when you realized that there was no point, the program was just wasting your time, and the only button worth pressing was "Esc."

I don't like sports games or shooters or any MMORPG's but the worst, most lame, disappointing game I ever played (maybe because I was expecting it to be great) was Crusaders of Might & Magic. Might & Magic IX was pretty bad too!

Holly crap that's the funniest post I've read for a while now!
Don't forget the brigands also... The problem is that they don't just die out, it's like there are goblin hospitals all over the place where goblin moms give birth to goblin babies who straight away get weapons and a shield and go swinging atcha.
Got to say that their speech and the noises that they make are at least somewhat funny

When I played Sacred, that was the least of my problems..
Big problems: BUGS crashes and BUGS, and secondly, the interface sucks without any pause/slow time/hot-keys -- every time you need to choose different spells you wind up doing it the long way.. so in my opinion that alone makes the game

Quite so. I'm surprised they even bothered shipping the game in a box. I remember playing the game a number of times for brief amusement and whenever I was bored.
I remember getting Math Munchers during the 5th grade and playing it the day it arrived. I'm terrible at math, so I guess it never gave me much enjoyment. Besides, the game itself lacked an enjoyable amount of depth, in my opinion. I don't remember loading up the game more than three times.
