Poll Question:
Map Design Contest?
Hi. I know I like map making with the HV mapmaker, but does anyone else? Are there enough people that do to start a competion?
And if so, how does one upload maps?

I hate to say it, but I doubt it. Since AoH doesn't host maps there have been few mapmakers posting at HC. The contest could be advertised on other major sites though.
I asked Val abouit it a few months ago and he replied he'd do a competition if someone was willing to run and judge it.Quote:

Again, not at AoH. MapHaven will not be accepting new submissions either. So the best places to send your map are Celestial Heavens, Maps4Heroes and Elrath. Do not submit your scenario to Heroes Portal - they do not list authors' names and host copycats.
Finally, you could zip and upload your file at any site which provides free hosting.

All in favour here  I've been working on a map for a while and had kinda contemplated the same idea, but balked at the organisation that I expected from it. Anyway, I would in principle be really keen.

I'll be a judge  , and I'm sure that I can find more judges if the contest start!
