How did you find this place?
I always wondered how the others stumbled upon the HC. Did a RL friend tell you about it, or on the Net? If yes, how? *ears spin in her curiousity*

My story would be like this:
Once uppon a time, I searched the net for HoMM2. I found Valeriy's site. There was a link to HC there. But I didn't notice it for a long time. I kept downloadingg maps till I couldn't find any HoMM2 maps on the net. Then I visited heroescommunity.com (trough the link on heroesofmightandmagic.com ofcourse). I started reading and reading all those interesting discussions about HoMM3. Then I foun out that I want to say something. I clicked the post reply button, but I couldn't post cuz I wasn't a member. I registered and began my race for the stars  . BTW: Milena, I think you're gonna be the second one to have 5 stars. You got your 4th onbe so quickly, that I thought you got a deal with Val .

And who is the first? Ah, Ozzy and Incubus. Well, I'm real fast, hehe. When I have a lot to say, the task is easy. I will have more posts than you in no time. :-P
Just an old habit. I'm very used to posting and talking a lot.
BTW, how I came upon the HC. After I left my other community with a crash-boom-bang, I settled in a very friendly EZ board and made it my homesite. This is where I met many interesting, cool and polite people and where later I found Zoop as well. However, I could not really discuss the H3 issues with them since they were more of d2 fans and I don't like d2. I went to altavista and search for h3 maps... then why not heroes forums? This is what I came upon and I'm very happy with it.

I also found a link to Wyvern's "Heroes 4 Beta Thread". I looked around a week or two before starting to post here. Seems Wyvern has a lot to account for... 
I found this link in the Heroes 3 Tavern, which "originally" was run by 3DO but they er.. "abandonded" it almost a year ago. It's still open (reconstructed using Boardhost) but the discussion has vaned since the heydays.

hmmm.. i think i found this site when i first got an internet connection and search HoMM sites and found a site called joinip.com or was it heroesofmightandmagic.com hmmm...

How did I find this place? Hmmmmmmm
Initially, I found it a source of information overload LOL
Then I found it a nice place to spend time online in, with some great people and great ideas...
Oh, you mean, how did I first come to the site? Would you believe hungover, with heavily bruised ribs from a greatsword fight? (I do medieval re-creation, and I missed a block)
Ok, now that I've had my fun mis-interpreting the question ... I was cruising around looking for HOMM3 tips on Astral Wizard, and found the link to CHU. While there, I found some information about Heroes 4 I hadn't seen before, and a link to this community. After lurking for a while, I finally got inspired by a weird incident in a singleplayer game , and made my first post. The rest, as they say, is history ...

I found this place from my friend Sir Dunco on this site he taught me everything about Homm if it wasnt for im i wouldnt be here now on this site. isnt this just a great site!

I did a web search for HOMM sites and there was a link to this place from some page, sorry I can't remember which one. I'm lovin it... I come to read the posts a lot, though I usually don't say much unless I feel I have something of value to contribute....
...or I'm in a mood to do stuff like this.

I saw some screenshots of Heroes 4 and thought that if I don't play the game in the next 3 or 4 days, I will die! At first I started searching for information about the game. And suddenly I found a site named Heroes Community. "Wow, this sounds very serious", I thought. And as I read the threads, I decided to become a member. I hoped that the older members will accept me...
I'm really happy to learn that I'm the reason for some people being here... I didn't expect it!
