i mean youll probably be able to have a sort of set budget and be able to hire units and then choose a paladin/warrior/mage hero.
at least thats how id try to design it

I wonder how battles would be handled? Eg, if one person ran away from battles and got lots of upgrades, while another person actually stayed and fought...they would probobally make battles give you lots of things. Oh, and you have to fight to cop the lolly, so it would even out. And yeah, a set budget.

i like the idea of neutral creatures in Homm5 too. like if a random tier 1-3 unit with how much depending on the week number etc would enter in the middle of the battlefield at random times and would attack the nearest creature it would make choosing to advance or not more important and interesting. as long as it didnt happen when your fighting creeps. then it would be really imbalanced
Oh and cop the lolly? what does that mean?

I know some of the neutrals are cows, I wonder if anything more threatening will rear its head?

Hi,
- I took a look at those new screenshots and to me it seems they have some work to do, atlest in the spelling section. Take a look at the 6th and 10th screenshot ;
Rot Zombies had caused 244 damage.haddied Wood Fairies 61 - Am I reading that wrong or ? Granted my english aint the best in the world, but still ....

Anyway the game looks so good and fantasy like, I mean...the feeling of fantasy just by looking at those pics, how the game is..makes me warm and, well inspired. Werewolves and ordinary wolves...mother nature. Well the undeads seems damn cool. Even if some units looks to have modern than medieval design like the vampire, its charming in fact, remember H2 guys? Just as long as there aint high tech in there Im satisfied..Seriously skills, rune stuff titles...I have played the original KB recently, it was something special and its also great to see they take inspiration from H5 to some level. Seriously..but umm are NWC creating this while UBI publish it?
Upgrades or not, I dont mind either way just as long as the creatures and their variations willl be unique. I go for green dragons and oh, oh! Emm white snakes...if there are any 
Werewolves...in dark woods.. glowing eyes, ghosts hiding in hollow trees, colorful small imps and FAERIES (its not fairy guys, thats the childs description on those butterfly people) passing by your hero as he travel on a gravel road through a deep, dark forest. Hearing the bats screeching, coming in front of you, then you relize those are vampires in disguise....sry for so much random babblish. But THIS game, my fellow members, this game will be great!

Neiter. It's an "all-Russian" game, developed by Katauri Interactive ("General", "Space Rangers") and published by 1C - a very famous Russian firm.

I don't think there are upgrades, but more like variations, with each one being equal just in a different way. I think there are like 5 giant spiders (this list could be off, and the abilities are guess work)
Red: Fire, high attack?
Ice: High Defense?
Black: Poison?
Venom: Poison?
Brown: Hardy.
I really like the Evil Eye thing, it has a good attack.

I think there are spell scrolls: You purcase a scroll and can use the spell only if you have the scroll. Nice idea.
There are at least two types of Vamps, Shadow and Blood (Guessing on names)
Wait, further inspection of a screenie shows that there are upgrades. One is called Vampire, the next is ancient vampire. The ancient vampire, which is Black as opposed to the Red Vampire, can become incorporeal, melting into his shadow, and miss attacks.
There are inquisitors.
I think, depending on your arties, you can change the hero's apperance.

Hmm i wonder if radeon 8250 will work, the mere quarter of a gigabyte ram has always been a problem though.
