Examples
Ok here are some examples.
Quite a few mods told me the only fun place these days is the Mod Squad.
We have mods mocking us about the Modsquad in public.
We also got mods talking right behind our backs & we can not even do nothing or possibly even know about it.
I have a complaint that the Mods are the only ones having fun or not on here.
At least thier having something.
Were neglected.
Were ignored.
Were not ignored, only we dont know about it.
I think all the mods just get off mocking us out here then go in private to talk more smack about us while having coffee lol.
Why not have war with the Mods.
I think we have a legitimate argument.
The mods neglect us.
The mods change.
The mods mock us.
The mods talk about you in closed doors.
The mods have thier own minds & will delete what they think is no good.
The mods just simply dont like anymore.
What can we do?
Well fight of course.

Not sure what that means but I might disagree with it who knows.
Point is, the mods are not doing thier job like it says in the signup registration when you apply for moderation

With posts like this, I'm not suprised that the Mod Squad is the last island of fun among the burning waste of HC. I mean, they pick the best members for mods, thus, the Mod Squad is good. It doesn't suprise me. Look. Back in my day, HC was fun everywhere. Then everything went downhill. Some of the good members left, and the others retreated into the HOMM boards or the Other Side, abandoning Tavern to the Wastelands people. But the Wastelands people are no longer the fun group I know. Where is TPAM? Where is TPBM? Where is "Only Weird People Read this thread, no one else, I'm serious"? The Wastelands passed through a petitions era, and now it's barely a skeleton of what it used to be. Moreover, it is a mangled skeleton that gives no impression of the essence of the original being. But HC's deterioration did not stop there. The HOMM boards (especially the H5 ones) were invaded with annoying people. When a member tried to expel one of them, he lost control and was banned. The Other Side was invaded by immature kids who couldn't talk about anything.
The overall state of HC is rather sad. Of course, there are many potentially good members. But they can't realize their full potential because they have no example to follow.

So what is the remedy then MVASS?
Is HC Dying.
Should we give up.
Are we the reason the mods gave up?

The remedy, Acu?
The remedy is to be good members not only for ourselves, but for those who aren't. The new members will have something to strive towards, and will improve their posts as well. HC's overall quality will improve.
Failing that, though, the other options aren't as good.
1. Split the HOMM boards from the Social boards. Make no links in between them. This will either kill HC or improve it.
2. Close HC. I like HC. I have fond memories of it. I don't want it to descend any lower. I don't want to see HC's last convulsions as the last good non-mod member leaves and the mods are overrun.
Remember, HC cannot survive by the efforts of mods alone. Its strength lies, or lay, within its regular members. This strength is threatening to turn into a weakness.

They will probally try to overthrow Val & take over for themselves.

DOnt forget to mention.
Mods from the past got Val to hire new mods so they can have thier fun in private.
That helps to keep the mods to post in public.
You see MVASS.
Look at all the vets still here, they are mods.
They only post in the Squad.
They refuse to post anywhere else.
So yea I think Mods are particularily to blame.
They leave the choires to us while they sit DWADDLING thier thimbs drinking coffee & associating within themselves with occasional fights.

No. Just no. The mods like HC as much as we do. They see that they have nothing to gain by overthrowing Val. You know what happens if they did that? Val would simply shut HC down. Even if he didn't, who's going to maintain HC? Who will be the new admin? In these times of crisis, this is not a question to be pondered.

I heard val shared his Admin powers to a trusted Mod yrs ago.
I just dont know who.
Maybe that mod is planning to overthrow Val & take over HC for him/her self.
Alot of greedy people in this universe.
Sometimes you never can tell.
