The Superhero RP - OOC
Welcome to the Superhero RP!
Ok, for now, just make your characters and sign up.
Your host will be the famous Ostrichman.
The game itself got a little simplified:
You can do good deeds, bad deeds, fight other players, etc etc. From time to time, Ostrichman will tell you of some things going on in the city so that you get some inspiration for doing stuff.
That’s it! Ostrichman says enjoy…
The RP itself starts when the competition ends; at the 12th of April. That’s Thursday... I think.

Problem Child
The secret origin of ... Problem Child.
Since his very first days as a baby Geny loved good rock 'n' roll music. Rock and Metal were in his blood and he wanted nothing more then to listen to it as much as he could. The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Queen, Twisted Sister, Juda's Priest, Manowar, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slayer... He didn't care what time or genre - as long as it was good quality Rock/Metal music.
Geny's life was peaceful and quiet (although his neighbors might disagree about the "quiet" part). However, destiny had something in store for him. While he was listening to his music ("Iron Man" by Black Sabbath at that moment) a magnetic storm of unbelievable power occurred. Geny felt that the music that came from his headphones started "fusing" with his brain. When he heard the words "He was turned to steal in the great magnetic field" Geny finally collapsed.
When Geny came up to his senses the music was still playing. He was very confused, but the song in the background was "Smoke On The Water" by Deep Purple and no matter how confused he was he sang with the band "smoke on the water and fire in the sky"!! Suddenly, Geny saw clouds of smoke rising from the lake nearby and then there was a great ball of fire in the sky above him. That's when he realized that he can materialize everything that he sings about! Later he also learnt that he can arose certain feelings in the hearts of those who surround him if he sings about those feelings. Now all he needed was a cool name... oh, and a purpose for his powers.
Unfortunately, for the rest of the world, Geny was going through a rough period. He hanged out with some biker anarchists who only wanted to bring destruction and chaos wherever they went. Geny wanted a name that fitted his dark intensions. First he thought that calling himself Iron Man would be most appropriate, but some rich guy in a shiny metal suit already took that name. So Geny had to settle for Paranoid. Paranoid and the bikers started their reign of destruction. None could stand in their way. The Earth was doomed. The end...
...Or not. The Earth would have been doomed if not for one event that turned Geny's life around once again. On his path destruction Paranoid stumbled upon a group of hippies. He prepared to "hit the earth and split the ground" as he always did, but something stopped him. There was a weird scent in the air. Paranoid approached the hippies and asked what they were doing. Without saying a word one of the hippies reached out his hand and gave Paranoid some rolled ... weed. A minute later Geny's eyes were obscured by mist, but his mind was as clear as it could be. He finally understood that destruction is not the answer. Only peace, harmony and weed could do something good in this world. He casted aside his Paranoid identity and embraced a new one - Highway Star for he was feeling as if he was flying at the speed of light in the sky among the stars.
Highway Star decided to amend everything that Paranoid has ruined. He became a super hero trying to show villains the way of the weed (WoW) using his special Deep Purple microphone. However, some of the villains refused to listen and once they annoyed Highway Star so much that his Paranoid identity came out and attacked the villains. Because nothing goes away without a trace and in the moments of extreme stress (or lack of weed) Paranoid took control of Geny's body once again. Geny understood that he is no longer Highway Star, nor is he Paranoid, now he became a balanced (though a bit crazy) protector of Earth called...
PROBLEM CHILD!!!
Special Power:
Materializing Music (if that will prove to be to hard to RP or overpowered I'll switch to Sonic Waves).

Let's see: Mr. Brick the Don
Aligment: Evil
Mr. Brick's dream is to conquer the world. He skilled at using Machine Gun. He's a strong man, but he isn't much skilled in meele, or using meele weapons, so he's only hope in meele fight is his very strong fists that may defeat many strong people. He's the leader of Cornelo family, in the case his name is Brick Cornelo, he's the Don of Cornelo Mafia Family. His main archenemy is Problem Child.
Powers:
1.) Tech Freak
2.) Gun/Arrow profecy
3.) He's with great strengt
Unique Powers:
1.) Mafia Leader (can call upon some gangsters that aid him in battle)

Sorry, can't approve that.
Firstly, I can't see how a superhero and a supervillain can be just rivals and not enemies.
Secondly, if you mean that Don is Child's archrival I can't agree with it either. To be archrivals they'll have to be opposites of each other, so Child's archrival would probably be some shiny pop-singing Britney Spears immitation.

Okay, my ideas to the Game
Firstly:
Hitpoints: its how much damage can you get. If you run out of hitpoints you die. You starts with 120 hitpoints, you get +10 hitpoints per 100 qp.
Damage: that's how many hitpoints you take down from your enemy if you attack. Example: you have 12 damage, you attack an enemy that has 60 hitpoints, the enemy loses 12 hitpoints, so he has 48 hitpoints. You starts with 8 damage, you get +6 damage per 100 qp.
Attack: +1% to you damage per attack. You starts with 10 attack, you get +2 per 100 QP.
Defense: -1% damage that the enemy can deal to you per defense. You starts with 10 defense, you get +2 per 100 QP.
Speed: how fast do you acts. If you have high speed you act earlier in combat, if your have low speed you act later in combat. Avarge speed is 5-10. You starts with 8 speed, you get +1 per 100 QP.
Monsters:
Evil monsters that only good guys can fight agints:

Consprects:
Gangsters:
Evil criminals and vilains. They uses weapons, they kill incontent people, they do a lot of things that are agints the laws.
Mafia Familyes:
Mafia nembers live in Familyes. Familyes something like clans. But that familyes name are same to the family leader's family/last name. Like if Jack Cornelo is a mafia leader, his mafia mob called Cornelo. The nembers of these familyes are Gangsters, and the Lietnaunts are Gangster Bosses. There also Capo-s (I don't know what is the plural of Capo, sorry), and Underbosses too.
Mob Wars:
Wars beetwen mafia familyes. A family can win a Mob War by elimnating his enemy family, or by burning one of their "Posesses Buildings". If the Mob War ended or won by somewho, the peace returns.
"Posessed Building":
Shops, Hotels, Inns, etc. that captures by mafia familyes in order to earn money.
Illegal Business:
Illegal Business means these things:
-do shopping in black marker
-selling something in black market
-selling drugs
-buying drugs
-buy a stolen car
-buy stolen stuff
In this game if you do anything of that, and the police learns it, they will want to bust you, "Police Warning" happens.
"Police Warning":
The police chasing you. If they get you, you have 3 choses:
-Go to jail
-Pay money (it's a lot of money, sometimes you can't pay money, for example if you do capital crime or you haven't got enough money)
-Resist Arrest (you resist arrest, you fight agints the police, so you have to fight agints the policeman/policemen tht are run after you, if you lose you put into jail, if you win you will get wanted)
Be carefull! If you do anything agints the laws Police Warning happens!  So don't break the laws! 
Wanted:
This is that how the police pursuing you. If you have low Wanted Level, policemen that are in the street go to you and Police Warning happens, but they don't pursue you, they only cash you if they see you at the street. If you Wanted Level is high, they are pursuing you, running after you, maybe they take tanks and helicopter with themselves, maybe the soldinery puirsuing you insead of the police.
Reputation:
This metters 2 things: how you are farmous and how you areheroic/gloryus/promosing/admirable. With high reputation you are hero in the eyes of the people and you are very farmous, with reputation under zero you are a vilain in the eyes of the people and you are very infarmous, except if your Wanted Level is high.
Mob Level:
Each city/yard/street/zone has got Local Mobs, Mobs, and Unlocal Mobs.
Local Mobs: the monsters that are familar in that place, they are in high numbers
Mobs: normal number monsters of that place
Unlocal Mobs: the monsters that are rare in that place, they are in low numbers
Zones and Yards:
This city is very driffent and many-sided. It contains 5 driffent zones.
 Safe Zone
-Local Mobs: none
-Mobs: none
-Unlocal Mobs: all
Dangerius Zone
-Local Mobs: all
-Mobs: none
-Unlocal Mobs: none
Dark Yard
-Local Mobs: Gangster, Gangster Boss, Exterminator, Capo, Underboss
-Mobs: Ruyter, Soldier, Sniper, Punk, Brigade, Colossus
-Unlocal Mobs: Police Officer, Commando
Yard of Ultimate Laws
-Local Mobs: Police Officer, Commando
-Mobs: Soldier, Sniper
-Unlocal Mobs: Gangster, Gangster Boss, Exterminator, Capo, Underboss, Punk, Brigade, Colossus
Street Fighters Yard
-Local Mobs: Punk, Brigade, Colossus
-Mobs: Gangster, Gangster Boss, Exterminator, Capo, Underboss
-Unlocal Mobs: Soldier, Sniper, Police Officer, Commando

KD, that's all really cool, but it's kinda too complicated for a simple RP...
I would like to hear opinion of other people... Do you prefer KD's more interesting yet more complicated idea or the classical RP-ish idea?

Nope, just copy thee things to the master posts, you can make Fantasy Monsters, Super Heroes yourself, I just wanted to have mafia, gansters too.
