Funny that you remember his name Dunpeal "D". Vampire Hunter D (Banpaia hantâ D) was name of the movie.
I didn't know Alcs movie from picture but now that Watcher said Bandits it must be it. I saw it long time ago and i was the only one in the room who tough it was any good. Nothing special but entartaining whit good charters.
That Cate Blanchett sure is hotter 
Bruce in another black humor/crime movie:
Well this has very little in common whit Bandits but both has weird humour and aren't typical movies.

That's Lucky Number Slevin. Saw it the other day, and it's awesome!
It was Bandits indeed, I think it's a great movie, I've seen it so many times, and everybody who I've seen it with find it hilarious - and Billy Bob Thornton's character is just amazing!

And, I have no idea about the new one.
Although one movie does come to mind... In russian it's called "Only Girls are in Jazz", but I think it has a totally different name in English.
