Wow, very beautiful indeed. Thanx for the notice, will let the thread remain for a couple of days, and then move it to the Modder's Workshop for storage.

Btw. Age Of Heroes team members should notice that this also provides the "Ultimate Runelore" icon which is currently not on AOH:

Hmm, Is that runelore icon even in the game?  One time when I got ultimate runelore it was just an empty box.  Maybe that was in 2.0.

Great ! ... I hate keep going from game to desktop all the time!. Great. And it looks... Beautiful.

Edit: Just downloaded it and tried it. I though it should have been like, the other skill wheel you can download. The one where you can press the skills you want and like before playing the game create the skills you want for the character. This one you can just see the paths.. but still great thing

The other skillwheel is made by: Aurelain

No, actually I don't think it is. This one looks like a custom-made one to represent Ultimate Runelore, but it still looks cooler than just the empty box.

Will a mod like this effect 1 on 1 multiplayer if both parties don't have it installed?  I'd like to use it, but I am afraid it will cause check sum difficulties with players not using it.

Any ideas?

This is incredible.  I'd recommend informing Nival about this in whatever manner was done to get them to put their stamp of approval on the fan-made instruction manual.  While this might not have taken anywhere near as long to create, I think there's a real chance Nival would want to implement this in the next patch.  I'm not one of those people who recommends badgering Nival with every idea people can come up with or asking them to put in creatures that we want but this in game skill wheel is fantastic as a utility and it's beautifully created too.  This is the only mod I've ever seen that I absolutely think should be in the game and can't see a single downside to having it.

I agree with you, this should come out in next patch, since its very nice to have. But i think nival would see it as a thing that ruin the tactic element.. By knowing what skills you can get by choosing this and that. But who knows

That doesn't make any sense - as it stands you can just Alt-tab out and see anyway - there's no reason not to include it. And I don't see how not knowing what you're doing is contributing to tactics .

Great mod(s) indeed! Now it only needs to be available from the level-up panel...

Good point. I updated it in the manual, but forgot to add it on AoH. The icon indeed comes from patch 2.1 (2.0 had only the mock-up empty box).

Yay! This is great!

But... it's a map file.
Can someone explain to me how a map can affect the game when it is not even loaded?

The maps are considered exactly as mods. It's the same thing as renaming it .pak and placing it in the data folder. This is a vital information to you all who play maps that modify some game files: NEVER leave them in the maps folder when you don't play them, as they will modify the entire game, not just when they are loaded. Move them to another folder (Maps2 f.eg) when you don't play them.

And it is a map because it seems mods don't work in 2.1 anymore... but someone said in another forum that the mods WORK when placed in the data folder, not dataa1! (I don't have HoF yet so I don't know for sure)

About mods and maps: indeed in 2.1 mods don't work anymore when placed in the dataa1 folder as .pak files. However, they work when place in the data/ folder unpacked. Which is silly.
The other way is to rename them to .h5m and place them in the maps/ folder, which is not ideal either, but far better.

However, this could change in 1.5. We'll see how it is handled then.
