I don't see a single reason why the thread should not be locked if the contest moves to another thread. Perhaps you misunderstood what I meant by saying "cleaned". I intended to remove all the unnecessary posts in the spirit of "I like this creature" or "This creature sucks big time" which will make it a bit easier to read. But if you want it unchanged so badly then I'll leave it as it is.

Well I have been reading this thread quite a bit, and this is supposed to be a contest right? Well in my opinion it would be better if only the entires were in this thread, and not people saying "awesome creature" and the examples that Ste gave.
If Ste has the time to do it, and the want to do it, then why should you stop him? I for one would like to see this thread cleaned a bit, so I do not have to scroll down the pages just to find an entry made by someone, and having to skip all those replies complimenting peoples entires or saying that they might be bad or need to be improved, because this thread isn't what that is about. If you wanna discuss that kinda stuff, and have those posts, then why not make them in Possible Creature thread.

OK...Whatever...there will be no judges and don't know if there will be many contesters, as Dj already created the topic, so he has automaticaly became the judge. And I was talking here about only ONE judge and wanted to make a poll, about who should it be from the volunteers. But now it doesn't matter

Dude...relax...it's just a contest ...you don't need a poll... to decide a judger by voting needs a lot of time (maybe a week) but people want the contest as soon as it is possible! ok...you will be a judger.After all it's your system and I will present the rounds and seasons!Gnoll_Mage will give ideas (or fire us if we don't make our job ), users will make creatures and it will be a great contest

You see, there should be only one judge. Because if there's more, there can be a lot of problems and disagreements. That's why we should have wait. But anyway, you made it, so...continue your work.

Disagreements? Each judger awarded some points from his own point of view...the points were gathered together: 3 users and 2 judges for example
judger 1 : 5 points to user 1, 6 points to user 2 and 2 points to user 3
judger 1 : 6 points to user 1, 6 points to user 2 and 3 points to user 3
User one will have 11 points, user 2 will have 12 points and user 3 will have 5 points..and the winner is user 2.

Do you understand that i.e. if there were 3 judges,so one good creature creator could get 49.5 points per round, so after 3 rounds the contest is over. It's just an example but it's not good. I counted everything for ONE judge. So that there would be at least 10 rounds.

@BJ Average the scores, don't sum them, and that problem is solved, no?
@All Please don't argue It is best to have one judge, so I think judging should be on a rota or whoever wins judges - that way Dj only posts the rounds, whereas one other person per contest judges. Any issues, take it up with me, not each other please
@Will The images in the first post should have been all you needed to look at all entries, so the thread content doesn't matter. If you would like, I will create equivalent pictures for the remaining entries, and Ste can add them in if he would be so kind
@Ste I am against deleting things unless they are insulting or such like. There is no need to clean the thread - it would serve no purpose, so long as you and I put all entries into the first post. To be honest, I have never met someone who agrees with me on this sort of thing, so I'm not surprised to find opposition. Obviously you have the authority to do as you wish, but I do hope you consider my opinion as progenitor of the remoulded CC! Sorry to be putting a foot in the works and everything
Also, apologies for my earlier comment, it may have sounded like I was assuming you'd prefer to be lazy and do nothing.
