Funniest Start
I think i had the funniest start to the tournament. In my first game, I couldn't find my town first 6 days. First few days i wasted some time getting some mines then realized there was no town around. Just before i got my town on day6 I was thinking that was not my day...

Another memory to share...
One of my most rememberable games. I was playing battlemania. I found out that my relics were tome of earth magic and titans cuirass. This was my dream combination. Day3 and i thought this game is over. Any warlock will do. Got Jeager and he quickly climbed 20+ spell power and plenty of mana with intelligence. I was thinking no battle would going to happen.
That idea was proven to be right. There didnt happen a genuine battle.
When the armies clashed, the thought going round my head were 'What to start with... Expert implosion or meteor shower.. or maybe expert slow to begin with...'..
I got this message from the game when i clicked my spell book: Orb of inhibition is preventing all spell casting in this combat.
Even my lightning bolt could be a killer with that spell power...
No need to mention that the barbarian on the other side having ancients, thunderbirds and ogremagis in command, has killed my army instantly without any battle taking place...
I gained a lot from this loss. Never think a game is lost or won until the end...

LOL, that sounds like the time I recieved an implosion spell when I had power of like 30 with expert earth and orb of silt/ My implosion hit for close to 6,000 points of damage!!!! I thought hehe  games in the bag!!!! Well that's what I get for thinking Opponent caught me offguard and attacked when I had no spell points!!! Hehe it's harly over until you fight mains

i remember
Yes I can remember that game very well. He was so powerful that his ballista killing his own ghost dragons didnt help me. We experienced that bug for the first time...

First time...
In a game i played recently, I got a necro starting town. I was thinking how unlucky i was...
I hardly managed to get dragon vault day7 without citadel or castle. Week2 day1 came as 'bone dragon week'!!!. Creature growth +5 !!!. Starting second week with 7 bone dragons instead of 2 helped me a lot. I think this has happened to me for the first time...

Hehe I had a similar boost in one of my early Tymeria games. And i think that it also was the only time where the creature week has significantly helped me
I was also Necro, and clinging to my TOH ways i tried to get Bones week 1. Then i knew i would fall short and tried to get knights and castle, but I thought i couldn't secure the 10 sulfur on the map and built a marketplace. I ended up getting that sulfur but no castle 
I was stuck with only minimal buildup, my army decimated by shooters and almost no income. And then came the week of Black knight  I saved for a few days bought 3-4 of them took a crypt, bought the rest and broke out at least a week earlier then otherwise would be possible
