I need to learn how to edit WOG maps...
I cannot figure out how to modify a map that has been wogified, nor can I even make a map and then wogify it. Can anyone out there help me?
Also, what are the red and yellow stars all about?

I don't know what's wrong about ur map editor/WOG ... but about the stars: Red stars is QP, Quality Points. How many 'good' posts you have (very good). You get more yellow stars the more posts you have (some mistakes about yellow stars ... I have over 1000 posts and no yellow stars  )

How do you access your map editor? When I try to open a WOG map with my Heroes 3 map editor (I don't see a WOG editor in my menu) it says, "Invalid map file version. File Version=51 Current Version=28" Any suggestions?

WoG Maps do not open with the HoMM3 map editor. When you go to the start menu and select "New Life of Heroes", you should see your WoG Map editor in there. Now, you can open up your map. 
You get a WoG map editor after you install the WoG. If you did'nt, you may have to reinstall.
