ICTC3: Swamp

This is my first topic. I hope that I do it well. Good, now let's start!

THE SWAMP

AKA: the slimy people, the amphibious
PRINCIPAL RACES: Anfibum (half-frog), Salamance, Freek (mindbreaker)
ALIGNMENT: Neutral, they only try to survive.
COLOURS: Green and water green
KINGDOM: The Great Swamp of Tark'youl
CAPITAL CITY: Naargys'Tun (Great Castle in Afibum)
WORSHIP: Gettl, Mother of the Swamp; Kaishum, Lord of the Fire Water; Kairrunnx, the Master of the Mindbreaker
RELATIONS: Good: Silvan, Fortress, Dungeon
Bad: Haven, Necropolis
SYMBOLS: the Heart of the Swamp


I don't write the history because I don't know the English very well, but I hope that it isn't really necessary.

Not copyng, but I am inspirated from it. The name of the race are a mine invenction. I never copy, is unfair. Ok, now continue:

Magic buildings(continue):
Sacred pearl: When the enemy cast a spell in a siege, half of the mana of the spell be captured from yours caster troups. (sorry for the error, I don't write well in english)
Sacred well: Any heroes that enter in the city provides by 8 mana points
Rejuvenating fountain: Reanimate a death hero for a great cost.
Sacred temple: In a siege your troops provides a mana bonus equal to the level of the magic hero or half level of the might hero.

Ok, now the creatures:
LEVEL 1:
Anfibum warrior:
The anfibum are a half-frog race. Not very brave, they don't fight plainly, but they adopted a skirmisher tactics for a slow die of the enemy. The warrior is the basic unit in all the army of the Swamp, and in good hand they can serious damage the enemy.
Abilities: Anphibious, lesser invisibility (once for 1 turn, they are so much cowards that they can sthealt very well)

LEVEL 1 UPGR:
Anfibum elite:
The name say all: this units are the elite of the army of the Swamp. They attacks with harpoon, so they don't are penalized for the melee attacks, and they can trow it. They are a versatile units.
Abilities: Anphibious, lesser invisibility, shooter, no melee penality
LEVEL 1 ALTERNATIVE UPGR:
Anfibum shaman:
The shaman are a rare units that can to heal your allies. They are bad in fight, but they are good for renforce and support. If you use they well, your units can't be hurts.
Abilities: Anphibious, heal (they can heal a troops for hp equal of half of theyrs mana point), shooter.

LEVEL 2:
Great mosquitos:
This giant insects was breed to the Anfibum for do air attacks. They suck the blood of theirs victim and fly over they, so they are exellent for rapid attacks and for debilitate the enemies.
Abilities:Flyer, bloodsucker (such life drain, but they can't resurrect)
LEVEL 2 UPGR:
Flycatcher:
These insects are living traps breed from the Anfibum for stop the flyer unit. Whit theirs long tongue they can catch and kill all the flyer unit of the enemies. These units are perfect for defense the city against creatures that can fly over the walls.
Abilities:Anphibious, flycatcher(all the flyer units hurts by these creatures gains double damange and can't move for 2 turns), invisibility.
LEVEL 2 ALTERNATIVE UPGR:
Giant crustacean:
These invertebrates are such giants crawfish utilized like siege weapons. They are armored and strong, but very slow, so they are exellent for siege, but the worst for a standard battle.
Abilities: Aphibious, armoured. siege attack(these units can destroy walls and gates like siege weapons), large creature


LEVEL 3:
Salamance soldier:
The salamances are a reptile-like anphibious, famous for the agility. The soldier are armed  whit two sword, and they are mortal with it. The principal tactic for these monster are fast charge and mortal strokes for debilitate the enemies and rapid retreats for heal and renforce the allies troop.
Abilities:Anphibious, double attack.
LEVEL 3 UPGR:
Salamance scout:
The salamance are exellent stalker: they are quiet and fast, and they have a perfect sight.
So some soldier became scout: spies and explorer for the Swamp empire.
Abilities:Anphibious, invisibility, remove invisibility (the enemy can't use invisibility)
LEVEL 3 ALTERNATIVE UPGR:
Fire salamance:
Some salamances are connected with the fire. These monster are rejected that wander alone in the swamp, but in war time they are recruit in the army for burn the enemies.
Abilities:Fire breath, shooter, range penality, elemental, imune to fire.
LEVEL 4:
Freek mindeater:
The freek are octopus-head humanoid with powerful psichic power. The mindeater are the standard populations of all the Freeks, and they have been utilized for elite range unit.
Abilities: Imune to mind control, mental strike (confuse a enemy and give him half of damange), shooter
LEVEL 4 UPGR:
Freek officer:
This powerful Freeks are the official for all the better army in the Swamp Empire. They can destroy a enemy whit the mind, and they can support their ally whit is. They aren't great fighter, but in second line they are one of the better units in all the army.
Abilities: Imune to mind control, group imune to mind control (all the army has the ability), mental strike, shooter, aura of bravery
LEVEL 4 ALTERNATIVE UPGR:
Freek ambassador:
This Freeks aren't very ambassadors. They are such like slaver. These monster have powerful mind, whit they can control the enemy. They are exellent for support and defense, but very bad for assault and standard battle.
Abilities: Imune to mind control, shooter, mental strike, caster, spell book: Puppet master (only one utilize for battle)

Lord Evil- oh, the image! I think all the town... Yes, I copyed it here, but I don't find another good simbol for "the heart of Swamp"
The freeks are inspirated from the Firk, I know, but it doesn't the same thing.

Havent played Poxnora myself but after what you wrote down...well seem good enough

Background story arent that neccessary, but sure it helps. I guess you are excused, because of the english

BTW you need edit the new diteils to the master post not post a new one (that it wont get mixed up and lost betwin the pages).

Cohesiveness: 5/10 (all seems to fit reasonably well)

Imagination: 10/15 (you are bringing some variation in the swamp theme)

Back story: 0/10 (none)

Battle facets: 3/10 (how can a mosquito upgrade to a crawfish? Sadly this faction is unfinished so I can't say much about this aspect, there is variety but it is a bit chaotic)

Discretionary: 1/5 (for some good ideas)

Given that "later" never came, you score a great "not classified" from me. As a general rule, it's better not to start a work if you don't want to finish, and in case you don't have much time but really wish to compete, to go for something synthetic and essential.
