Still, it's a pretty damn weird thing to do.
You walk into the cargo hold of a prototype marine ship, where you know were not one but two Devil Fruits and you find some weird metal bars.
Now, what do you do? Toss them into the ocean in order to free up space for... nothing?

cause:
A) It is metal bars. Mark assumes that they were to be taken to a weaponsmith, but seing as none of use can forge weapon(or use weapons for that matter) he does not see why we should keep it.
B) There is no forge.
C) The room was full, we need more space.

Btw, maybe we should decide what the ship has more or less. We know it has a cannon deck, a kitchen that doubles as a dining room, a storage room (quite big one), a small training area and an even smaller navigator's room. What interests me the most is the sleeping arrangements - do we all sleep in one room on hammocks, each have a separate room, pairs, triples etc...
I don't much care what it's going to be (although one room per person, except the captain, might be too much for a small ship), but it's something we should know for future reference. Other rooms can be added later if needed.

Well I'd say that logic wise there should be 1 captains bedroom (how luxorious it should be would depend on the nature of the captain who was suppose to lead the ship. My guess would be that it shouldn't be anything pompous or highly luxorious since I wouldn't think that a captain who does his missions covertly and unseen would care much for pomp. But that's just a general idea the guy could have any character traits) and a crew room. So a medium sized room with hammocks, yeah.
What else? Maybe a very rudimentary infarmy? Since again it's a stealth ship so battle shouldn't ensue and thus there shouldn't be any need for medical attention. I don't think we need one since our only doctor (was there anyone knowledgable about healing stuff except Anar?) doesn't know much about modern medicine. He could always read though. And we already have the medium sized training room. I don't think we need anything more, do we?

I think we need a "bottom" room equipped with some sort of sonar and direct view to the sea. Why? Sailing in really shallow water can be quite good to avoid anything.
And i also agree on da idea

Oh, no doubt, Azagal. I love One Piece and did enjoy roleplaying. However, I'm spread even more thinly than before which makes committing to roleplaying difficult. That's kind of why the other ones fell apart.

Kek,
Being the DM of rpgs got to be a bit too demanding on my psyche. It seems like a strange thing to feel stressed over, but I was. Role playing was all about escapism from law school. Once I graduated and was sworn in, the need to do so faded and I lost my creativity. Since that time, I haven't wanted to get involved with any new projects because I feel the same would happen. I already feel bad about not finishing up my own RPGs. I'd feel worse on bailing on another person.
So that's why I haven't gotten into the One Piece one. That and work, a girlfriend, cooking, and some games keep me busy.
