CX is back! How nice to see you here again.

I remember that when you originally posted this faction you wrote on the top of the masterpost:
Quote:
This is NOT for ICTC, this is just a faction I've been thinking about.
(I will compete with this in the next ICTC, if there will be one)

Nice to see things are happening the way you thought they would.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let me gather the creatures lineup:

1. Cloudling - Cloudling Parasite | Snow Cloudling
2. Lightbearer - Lightbringer | Light Warrior
3. Wind Hunter - Wind Stalker | Breeze Hunter
4. Avian Warrior - Avian Berserk | Avian Marksman
5. Sky Mage - Sun Mage | Winter Mage
6. Elite Guard - Slyath's Elite | Guard Commander
7. Roc - Thunderbird | Ice Bird

My note here is simply about the descriptive names, especially the ones on levels 4 and 6. Instead of "Avian Warrior", find (or make up) a name for it, something that sounds like it comes from the Avian language, if there's any, or with their accent. Use it also in the upgrades. "Alashee" appears in my mind, I don't know why...
The point is that the name shouldn't describe the creature exactly - for this purpose you have the creature description.

Does the racial mean stacks or really every single creature? If you mean every single creature I think it is overpowered. Especially if you consider the generally high growth rates of tier 1, 2 and 3 units. On expert 100 creatures will result in totally 250% movement points or a movement other heros only can do in two and a half day.

Thanks GL. I'm not really back, I was just checking whether there was anything cool going on in here and found the new ICTC. I thought about entering with my Tower faction and here I am.

As for the creature names, thanks for the tip. Alashee sounds great! If you have any other ideas, feel free to suggest.

Snatch: I'm not entirely sure about the windriding skill, but I'm openn for suggestions, so if you have an idea that would fit, please, tell it.

Can you do me a favour?

It's just a bit hard to read the post, since it's so messy. I often get lost in it when when I try to read. If you arrange it a little bit, bold creatures names, underline titles, use separating lines, and don't make too much space between lines of text, it will be much easier to read and to look for information. It will also make the post to look better, which is important by itself.

Much better! Good work. The New names are much more original and not descriptive. I'll write the lineup again:

1. Cloudling - Cloudling Parasite | Snow Cloudling
2. Lightbearer - Lightbringer | Light Warrior
3. Wind Hunter - Wind Stalker | Breeze Hunter
4. Alashee - Alashee Berserk | Nalathed
5. Sky Mage - Sun Mage | Winter Mage
6. Jerydon - Elite Jerydon | Jerydon Commander
7. Roc - Thunderbird | Ice Bird

The only name that I would change is the Jerydon Commander. Do what you did with the "Alashee - Alashee Berserk | Nalathed".

I have an idea for you. I call it "Sky Magic".
The hero will be able to use those special spells, that give the creatures in the army special abilities, unique for flyers of the Tower. One spell gives the diving ability, other makes the creature raptorial (makes more damage to non-flyers small creatures), maybe even a spell that takes away enemy creature's ability to fly (think of what a great tatcial use would that have on siege!).

Considering that H6 may include elemental magic schools, I would keep the name "Sky Magic". Besides, it sounds better.
Quote:
1st Circle:
- Word of Flight: Gives any creature the Flyer ability for one turn. (5 mana)[Blessing]
- Gathering of the Clouds: Decreases the initiative of an enemy creature. (4 mana)[Curse]

The first one is good.
The second one is pointless, since you can just use Slow, can't you?
I would make: "Gathering of the Clouds: the battlefield becomes darker and light spells are 10% less effective." That or something similar.

Quote:
2nd Circle:
- Clouds of Fear: Hero has a chance to scare selected enemy creature (depending on the spellpower of the hero). (7 mana)[Curse]
- Diving Death: Gives the selcted creature one chance of battle dive. (9 mana)[Blessing]

Sounds good.

Quote:
3rd Circle:
- Rip the Wings: Hero removes the selcted creature's ability to fly for two turns. (11 mana)[Curse]
- Slyath's Fang: Deals lightning damage to all units in the target area. (2x2) (10 mana)[Direct Damage)

Again, there is a spell for the second one. I would make something like: "Fog: All the enemy shooters receive a 10% damage penalty to all ranged attacks, and the speed and iniatiative of all the enemy non-flyers creatures on the battlefield is descreased by 1. +10% chance to miss while trying to hit Incorporeal creatures."
