Hello There, My name is B-E-T-A
Hello there, my name is B-E-T-A and i am(as everyone else here i suppose) a fan of the Heroes of Might and Magic series, and the normal Might and Magic series. I'm new in this forum and just figured out i say hello.
ohh yeah, and as you might see, i have "Historical Researcher" underm my avatar and post count, this is because what i love most of all with HoM&M/M&M is the epic story.
Btw, i have played all the heroes of might and magic game and this is how i rank them:
1. Heroes of Might and Magic III: Restoration of Erathia, Shadow of Death & Armaggeddons Blade
2. Heroes of Might and Magic II: The Succesion Wars & Price of Loyality
3. Heroes of Might and Magic
4. Heroes of Might and Magic V, Hammers of Fate & Tribes of the East
5. Heroes of Might and Magic IV, Winds of War & Gathering Storm

I cant see how anyone would rank Heroes I Before Heroes V without a touch of nostalgia in the decision though

It's simple, Heroes I was the first game, and it was the first game i ever played to a computer(lol). So i got pretty good memories from it, and that's why i like it.

 I'd watch out for Cepheus if I were you, he might get a bit excited at that

You know, I had no care at all for the old M&M story before, assuming it to be rubbish, but whilst correcting one of the German ICTC entries (+ looking at your pages) I had to read through the whole thing, and I have to reluctantly admit I'm slowly being converted...

Reluctantly? It's not going to bite you I guess the German entry was "The Clockwork", I really enjoyed that one since it actually pays very close attention to detail.
IMHO the old stories trounce Nival's with gusto and always will. I guess the problem is that they are not approachable enough or totally consistent most of the time, but I'm working on... something which will bring a lot of it together (other than the Spinward Tales).

Ops! I totaly forgot i made this thread hehe...was busy reading HoM&M6 threads.
Thanks for all the welcomes everybody. btw, i don't understand how my name can be hard to type, i cna do it within 1 sec "B-E-T-A" simply use the caps lock and know where the letters are
