[MOD TotE] Heroes V Levels 1.2 for 3.1
Mod for Tribes of The East Version 3.1
Heroes V Levels 1.2
The cap after level 25 has been reduced drastically, so now will be possible to reach level 40 a bit easier.
Level 26 requires 220,821 xp
Level 30 requires 396,675 xp
Level 40 requires 3,140,344 xp instead of 1,215,939,194 xp as in original version
So on..the cap is still level 40, later I'll increase the cap 
Test and tell me later the opinion 
How to install?
- H5_Game 3.1 - patched.exe in Heroes V\bin and overwrite H5_Game.exe. Also, use backup
How to unistall?
- use backup of original Heroes V

Will this MOD work like a normal MOD (i.e. if placed in the UserMODs folder), or does it require anything special?

Yes, that is why I would like to see NCF version which uses its own executable... it is the same for all the players and will be beneficial for both mods' popularity

I thought the NCF was based on the European version, so wouldn't the patch work on it?

The NCF uses its own new .exe, and one can't run two modded Heroes V .exes at once with all new functions intact if I'm not mistaken.

Just run the patch on the NCF exe - since it is iirc based on the European version, the patch ought to make the right changes, yes? (Maybe you have to rename it first, I don't know how the patch works.) Could be wrong of course.

Main exe must be patched otherwise won't work at all.
Is hard-coded changed.

I changed the formula.

I'll post the update today or tomorrow.
After that, I'll increase the cap to at least level 50.

There may be freaks who try to reach this cap, starting from me  . Go on and reach it to 100, so it becomes really impossible.
It is not very hard to do I believe?

Isn't that easy to increase cap to 100 because involves some changes like rate of experience and so on.
Anyway, I've updated the link on 1st post and trust me that I had something to work because even created new offsets and so on.

Just wanted to note that AVG 7.5 reports a trojan in mod exe. I trust that it is probably just a false alarm, but many potential downloaders of this would prefer not trying their luck. Please check if you can fix that.

100% false alarm.
Checked it with Avira, Norton....no ways of something like this.

It is probably over-cautiousness of AVG anti-virus.
It only reports it as trojan after update that happened this week.
Anyway, just wanted to inform you, i fully trust you included no trojans

The difference between 1st update and 2nd is:
- new formula after level 26, so at level 40 to be something like in Heroes III.
1st formula was addapted just until level 35
