Hangvul (Campaign Hero)
Blindness - Cost: 10
Blinds the selected enemy creature so that it cannot move, attack or use any abilities. Blindness disappears if blinded creature is attacked. Spellpower determines the duration of effect. (The spell does not work on undead, elemental and mechanical units.)
Duration depends on the caster's mastery. At Expert mastery, blinded stacks can not retaliate.

The true answer is kragh with pounder and stunning strike... Arxus was the first to tell that as I see... Poison and blindness does not work on elemental and undead, storm of arrows have a chance to completely kill the enemy , but most probavly enemy will survive... Pounder is a definite atack and with stunning strike , it definetly stuns , so the enemy can not atack before you

which hero may prevent an enemy stack from doing anything even before the battle begins?
I expected nebiros.
in the rare case where the enemy count on tactics to put a maximum of stacks on the battlefield, he may not have enough room because of nebiros speciality.
(btw, kragh gets a special attack at the beginning of the battle)

Well i seem we all got the question wrong I though you were facing 1 stack of creatures and tryin to not give them a chance to attack... anyways next question plz faunch

looks like fauch with his 3 heads and violent nature has vanished again
in the meantime i'll fill in for him: which creature cannot get preparation because of its intrinsic nature?

If this would be homm 4 it was berserker for sure but in homm 5 .... Mauler maybe ?

warmonger is right, the goblin actually can't make use of preparation at all because of its cowardice, it will simply get hit and run

No perks or anything?If that then it's knigth with 7 damage.If its with perks its Kragh with 9000000QFTET IMBA damage (No real number here, but with all good perks he WILL kill a stack of 8 fire dragons),

yep, i was fighting several hordes of phoenixes with my 10000 goblins, and thought it would be a good idea to get preparation for garuna. i defended, but was dismayed to find out that preparation does absolutely nothing for goblins!  Ended up being jostled around like a ping-pong ball for a while.
