Oh, sooo funny! Or not 
I'm not picking Air Magic unless I'm a barbarian or beastmaster so Prayer is more often in my spellbook(At expert mastery).

That's ONE reason why u probably would lose 10 out of 10 games vs human opponents online...

Well, I'm playing maps with no DD or fly and I get water magic(Prayer) to get speed for rushing...
Edit: If I have wisdom. If I don't, I will take air. I prefer to not have wisdom so air is chosen a good amount of times.

If you can "order" prayer - yes, its good. But in real game you are not sure if you will have it for final battle. You need either wisdom, or water tome. In the first case you waste a whole skill and still its not certain you will get the magic. About the tome - how often do you have it?
And haste - its almost 100% sure that you will have it.
And there is another difference between haste and prayer: haste negates slow, and prayer only add the bonus.
So if you play stronghold and the enemy cast you mass slow your T-birds will be 5 speed. With prayer they will be 9 speed, and the behemots will be 8 speed. And with haste T-birds will be 16 speed and behemots 14 speed.
Big difference, isnt it? with prayer you will miss the full first turn. And with haste you will hit with full army.

I know the benefits of haste and I love the rushing.
But what else do you get from Air magic? If you don't have wisdom the only good spells you get is haste. And wisdom ain't the best skill in the world. Fortune is a good spell in theory, but I would rather use a turn with expert shield, bless or bloodlust etc.
Even if you have wisdom beside Air Magic you would only get mediocre spells like Air Shield and Counterstrike.(Sometimes good, but not always that good).
You have Disrupting Ray, but I will only use it when the opponnent has 1 creature left and I can blind it and then decrease its defense to minimize my losses.(Would not do it with expert fire magic)
My conclusion: Haste is a very good spell, but i dislike Air Magic.
It's just a choice if you wan't to use a room with your secondary skills for the haste-spell,

You contradict yourself. You say that wisdom is wasted skill and yet you prefer prayer over haste? How is that possible? You need wisdom for prayer, not for haste.

And in reply to this i would say - you dont need anything else 
With expert haste and slow tha game will be over, before the other spells come into action. Plus - i never said that i dont like earth magic. The goal is to have expert earth and air. thats it.

Spell Scroll or the book of water magic. Yeah, I know it's a long call.
No, I'm not the greatest fan of wisdom, but I guess you have experienced some of the worst things that can happen when enjoying a Heroes-game. The bad choice. You're offered wisdom a good amount of times when levelling up a hero, and often you get the choice between wisdom and such skills as mystisicm/eagle eye/estates etc.
When I'm playing I'm often offered bad skills(Makes me mad) and I end up with up to 2-3 bad choices during a game. Those lame university won't do any good when I find them neither...
Would you pick wisdom or eagle eye if those were offered at a new level? If you would consider eagle eye I would have to laugh.
I am offered when i'm playing I may end up with 2-3 bad choices during a game.(Two basics, hate them)

Eh, did I think that you didn't like earth magic? No.
I prefer Water and earth over air actually. cure and bless are loveable spells. dispel is a spell that can turn a fight upside-down
I know that haste and slow are combatwinners... but I'm more of a "slow-fan" though haste is better at times also.(Rushing opponent)

if you play wisely you will be forced to choose between wisdom and crap skills very rarely.
And about the other coments... play some online games against experienced players and than i am curious to see if you changed your mind. Like the pit lords

I have changed my mind about the pit lords. actually it was a pretty long time ago as well
Online games? I've tried and the snow won't work, and I'm not in the mood to try more right now...

I urge you to try the online games. Believe me - its a different world. In the beggining it will be tough, but latter when the firs success comes - the feeling is great.

If i have shooters then i would choose slow,if opponent has shooters, then i would choose haste.

Haste over slow.
Personally, I prefer prayer over both haste and slow, but that's not
what the discussion is about. ^^

in most situations, you can't chose, becasue, depending on the hero class, you'll have only one of them at expert level.
