It has nice detail and looks pretty sturdy, but I think it's kind of a weird motive for an electric guitar... Or is it just me?

Les Paul is awesome, but I've always been a Fender person myself...
About the guitar, the fourth unnamed Led Zeppelin's album had similar artwork as the guitar motives:
Perhaps that was the inspiration. Or someone simply wanted to make an awesome pagan-motived guitar

I canīt help myself - I find Gibson guitars wierd. For me its Ibanez all the way.
